i agree with an early comment posted here, nobody won anything, the biggest losers are us, the fans, who pay these boxers bills and they couldnt provide us with what we've been begging for...but i also co-sign with the author, clottey, in my eyes, is a bigger risk to take than cotto was..clottey has no history of being hurt, cut, dominated not even the slightest bit, and hes been in there with cotto, judah, margarito, baldomir.. i hope pac didnt choose him as a tune up, cuz that will be a disaster..

but the only way i see floyd matching manny risk for risk, is if floyd called out paul williams, that would shut all his critics up, even me..anyone else he fights, he will get dissed for it, no matter how good bradley is, hes not a welter..we want floyd to fight a 147 pound fighter, an elite one for once in his career..if not pwill, i wouldnt be mad if he chose collazo, who deserves another shot to get shine because his fight with berto was very close, and he gave mosley a decent scrap, and he was whoopin on hatton but lost on points..so either williams or collazo, those 2 right there, will give floyd credit

As of press time, NOBODY WON ANY ROUND OR ANY BOUT.

Until such time they're in the ring then we'll wait & see.

If there is such a thing as a sure thing, this is it. Pacquiao will take this and make it look easier than you would've imagined.
Unfortunately, the Top Rank affiliation doesn't help put Clottey in such an advantageous light from my view either. That's unless he really does have the wherewithal to prove his worth once and for all by putting on the performance of his life on the way to dethroning the P4P champ. He knows his stock will rise if he can pull it off.

Still, as has been noted, Clottey has failed to step on the gas and pull the trigger when it mattered most in big fights, though I won't bust his balls for his performance against Margarito due to the hand injury he suffered. That's if he really suffered a hand injury and was not just a play-acting bit of whining for the ref's sympathy like he did when he fought Cotto.

We can only sit back and watch how it will play out. Should be interesting.

Yeah...and the sprained ankle against Cotto (remember when he LEAPED to the canvas?)

I'm sorry but even if Floyd picks Bradley, that fight is not of the same caliber as Pac/Clottey.

Bradley is barely out of his Journeyman stage with only 25 pro fights and his biggest "win" was overturned to a no contest. I'm not knocking the kid, he looks great and I'll sure to watch him grow as a p4p powerhouse in the years to come but he is not at May's level or even a notch below.

Clottey may not be the #1 guy in WW but he is a damn strong one. Some may argue that he is looking more like a gate keeper but usually the number 3-5 guys have that role...and I'm sorry, but a gate-keeper for Mosley, Pac, May, Cotto is no ****ing joke.

I cracked up when Cotto body slammed him to the canvas and he crawled on the canvas with one eye open looking to see if the ref would take a point off of Cotto for being so mean to him.

How about when his trainer rolled his eyes as he moaned, "my hand is paining me!"

i think facing margarito would be better than pwill orcollazo, theres enough time to do it. pwill looked like **** in his last bout really overhyped,i think he lost to martinez, margarito ko'd martinez and was doing more damage to paul than the other way around.margarito is the perfect opponent for mayweather it would 1 up pacs fight since margarito whuuped clottey as well.not only would margarito possibly whupp mayweather ,but mayweather could whup margarito due to ring rust, when toney lays off he gets really rusty.also margs faced mosley hes pretty much faced everyone pac and mayweather have been ducking, except for clottey.

The pre-fight battle is no contest up to this point in favor of pacquiao. Take a look at any public opinion polls that think pac's a cheater and they're like 9 to 1 in his favor. He's called floyd's bluff, will undoubtedly beat him in the ppv race if floyd decides to fight on march 13th, and has forced floyd to fight someone dangerous. Bradley, while talented, is still far too inexperienced and once again a smaller guy that's unproven at 147. He's also unknown which won't help the ppv and he's a showtime boxer. Only way to upstage pac now is to fight either paul williams or sergio martinez, which everyone knows he's too much of a chicken to do. Floyd and gbp get a fail.

uhhh no. the fight falling through is squarley on manny,as floyd was going to take the same tests.floyd agreed to all of pacs demands, then when it comes for pac to give just a little, he acts like a spoiled ***** and lets the fight fall apart, its an epic fail on arum and pac,as well as all his ******ed followers for even having the gall to defend that ****.
