This is the guy that Floyd will fight next??

Pac is fighting a legit top 5 Welter that gave most of the other Top Welters problems. If Pac were to stop Clottey that would be huge. That's why the fight is so interesting.
The reason why Pac probably didn't wait for Mosley/Berto winner is because the likelihood of Pac fighting either one over another GBP fighter (Floyd) is slim.
He'd be stuck in a tough spot if he waited for Mosley only to have Floyd to get the fight. Arum probably thought it was too risky to wait and made the Clottey fight.
That's my take.Comment

be objective then. whats the point of pac-clottey? other than that top rank has both sides? pac also could have waited 2 weeks to see who wins berto-mosley. clottey is a heavy bag with feet in this fight. He will throw 5 punches and 2 headbutts per round, and maybe trip and fall a few times as well. This fight is junk and the only thing people can say is that "clottey is a true WW". well so what? so is Baldomir. Personally as a fan i would rather see pac-judah
And besides, why would PBF wants to stay busy? If there is no one available at this time, why cant he wait for May?Comment

Staying busy is better then not. As long as it isn't PPV, I could care less. I've expressed in the past that Mayweather needs to stay busy. He's in that point in time where overall he's most likely on the decline.Comment

You're just diggin yourself deeper. Floyd fighting Zab Judah a second time would be a better fight than fighting Nate.
Nate should go back to 135 where he is still viable, nothing against him but 147? come on, everyone and their mother knows fighting there, vs. a guy like Floyd and charging fans on tv and the gate is nothing short of robbery.Comment

Because Malignaggi can build hype.
He has no shot in hell, but he can atleast sell this ****.
I would have been disapointed in Floyd fighting Malignaggi, but atleast its understandable for a march 13th date to stay busy and tunup for a mosley/berto fight in the summer.
Nate Campbell in april? Whos gonna buy that? And what is the point?
april? buy? point? all good questions bro!!
at this time their is no point at all fighting a smaller man PBF should be fighting welters or bigger...
if PBF is fighting april that only tells me one thing floyd has no intention fighting winner of Mosley/Berto and will wait for the second batch of PAC-PBF negotiation...Comment

It would be blasphemy to Floyd for him not to have his fights on PPV.
If it makes money it makes sense right?
This makes no sense for Floyd, but to each his own.Comment

Nate can never go back to 135. He is a solid 140 pounder now, and will likely move up one more time to 147 before its over.Comment

what's the point of all this arguing.
why dont we all cool off and just wait till they announce who my man floyd going to whoop.
like what they did during the suspense catchweight fight with jmm, i will still buy ppv even if they will just announce the fighter on fightnight.
my boy floyd will still be undefeated.Comment
