Hey JPW relax man . . . don't get lost in these HYPES . . . you sound so pissed . . . don't generalized.
My prespective? . . . definitely Pac is not a great boxer nor a defensive master being an all out offensive fighter . . . you cannot be both but he does box and he has a decent deffense. If you ONLY have seen some of his old fights I'm sure you'll be suprised to see Pac box . . . defense? Watch that MAB and JMM fight again . . . and refer to the compubox analysis . . . out of the hundred of punches thrown against Pac only very few solidly landed . . . isn't that defense for you? As in the case of his fight against JMM Manny was out punch was the solid hits were not more than 8. Just like his MAB fight most of the punches thrown hit his forearm, elbows and globes. That's fully documented so you can watch those fights over and over again for analysis.
Bro boxing is all about throwing and landing the right punches. Ali, Foreman, Lewis, Leonard, Jesus Chavez, De LA Hoya, Tyson Roy Jones and the rest of the best all got dropped in the ring so what's the big FUZZ of MANNY GETTING DROPPED before. He took solid power punches from MAB and JMM that snapped his head but he never buckled down isn't that good enough for you? His chin improved a lot since his flyweight days.
