Question: Did Arum want Pac vs PBF to be in Dallas?

How about this genius.....Dallas Stadium was already on hold for 3/13 because it was an optional site for Pac/May. The undercard had already been decided for the Pac/May fight it just moved over to the Pac/Clottey fight.

Wasn't MGM being held for Floyd on March 13? If this is the case, Arum would need alternative venue for Pac, Im guessing Texas was open and there were already some negotiations between the parties, Jerry Jones being excited on showing off his new arena and all, that made that negotiation go pretty smoothly

I call Bull****. When Floyd and GBP didnt even bother to look at Texas. Arum changed his mind.

He passed up the floyd fight and ADMITTED that HE is the reason the fights off.

you make it sound like if Floyd doesnt have the shots then his hands will break into dust or something. Thats how everyone is acting now. People make it sound like without it then he is nothing. Gatti has one of the hardest heads & toughest beards going. Floyd landing a ton of hard shots. It wont kill him, e****ally for 1 fight

Here's the thing J.Jones wants that stadium to turn a profit and boxing is a great choice to fill up open slots. But, you need good fights that will fill the seats and I doubt Pac vs Clottey can do it - But it is a good start.

Arum has big stadium ideas .... he just needs the right matchups to make it a profitable reality. Right now I don't see many fights filling even 25% of that stadiums capacity ... with PPV and online streams cutting into the paying seat potential.
