Instead of the basketball courts at a young age, and were groomed to be boxers from a young age. How would the heavyweight division look.

If they were in shape like they are now? The way the HW div is full fattys right now I think they'd be top 5 HW's.

All it takes to be a good boxer is excellent conditioning, dedication and don't be lazy.

The Klitschko's, Haye, and Adamek are all in good shape.

It's hard to tell man, those guys are great athletes but their bodies aren't conditioned to takes punches and they are not chin tested.

Guys like Carmelo Anthony, Shaq, Dwight Howard and Al Harrington actually take up boxing during the off season. Did you see the way Shaq was tagging Oliver McCall at will when they were sparring on his tv show?

that would be wonderful. For sure it will be very exciting. James vs Kobe would be great to watch.

No offense to Lakers fans but does Kobe know how to fight? just curious.

basketball is a ***** sport, all of the players are soft and can't fight for ****.

You Americans keep getting softer and Eastern Europeans keep getting stronger.

Eastern European heavyweights are superior and will continue dominating for a very long time. Get used to it.

Emanuel Steward: "The Soviet Union fighters are hungrier than the American fighters."

There's a guy down in Florida that's grooming former football players to be boxers. He has a pretty good stable of fighters down there. Wish I remembered their names but it was in a past issue of ESPN the magazine in the past couple months.
