Mancini is one of my favourite fighters. All Mancini's fights seem to be like that. I got his career set and have watched all the DVD's and every fight is a battle.

Watch Mancini vs Bramble 1+2, particularly the second fight though, its another war!!

I've actually never seen the complete fight, but I did see a documentary about Mancini and it showed a lot of highlights from that brutal fight... it was crazy. Mancini had a lot of problems afterwards dealing with Kim's death (plus, Ray had some tragic deaths in his own family happen). He's been able to talk to other fighters, though, who have gone through the same thing as him and been able to offer advice and help.

Once saw a feature film about Kim made in Korea with actors. They show it on Showtime from time to time (except when I saw it late one night, the film had no subtitles so I was kinda lost sometimes).

Oh yeah, one of my all time favorite fights. Terrible ending though obviously.

For those that haven't seen it, watch it. It's an absolute war. 14 rounds of non-stop action.

My pops was a huge Mancini fan, which of course made me one too. I've collected a lot of his fights of the years, and I agree with the statement he was a gatti of his time, although a lot faster than gatti and more talented, imo.

I think that fight was the same year as Pryor vs Arguello. You know which fight would of been FOTY if that fight had not been FOTY.

I think!! that was FOTY that year anyway.

Yeah agree, well i guess who wouldn't be? that was no so much a war but a brutal taxing fight that would deffo take something from you physically.

If im honest i enjoyed this more than Arguello vs Pryor, probably because i could not hear the commentary for Arguello vs Pryor.

Mancini vs Arguello was also a great fight. Another 14 rounds of pure action.
