TWO different circumstances.
Haha, NONE son. NONE. There are NO excuses for this double standard ****.

Fact is, Floyd's last 2 opponents have been at a bigger disadvantage than Pacquiao's.

Being at the very top of the Sport both Floyd and Manny are now subject to both fair and unfair hate. While there are some who like to make certain things about race, the majoity is really jst regular old hate. To answer the the TS question on why Manny is seen in a negative light: You see Manny's brak out win over Oscar was talked about by hardcore fans more so for Oscar being weight drained than anything else. Mind you that was all Oscar's fault. He asked for the weight and he wanted this fight. When the Cotto was going to happen and the weight requested was even below 145lbs. Cotto's people said the lowest he could make was 145lbs. Shane Molsey tried to still the fight and was told he would also have to fight somewhere south of 145lbs if that were to happen. The problem people have with all this is that the weight thing didn't seem to be to put the fighters on a level playing field. Its seemed as if it was being done to gain an advantage. Anyone who saw Pac against Oscar knows that Pac still had speed and pop at 147lbs before hand. So why force the current champion at the weight to weigh in under the limit? Cotto was atually bullied into putting his belt on the line. He wanted to be stripped at one point. The purpose of a catch weight should be a middle ground where fighters of different weight classes can meet and still preform to the best of their ability. Its should not be a means to gain an advantage. Let me be clear though, I am against any title being on the line in a catch weight fight. Its been wrong in the past and its wrong now.

J-Ro knows the sport and i give him credit for that.
Jro knows his stuff. He can talk Robinson-Burley all they way up to upcoming boxing prospects.

The peyk-peyks, talisayen, pachugger, pacman777, makavelli, Toyi, Lady Fan, ThunderWolf and Ako Pa Ha and others give posters like jrosales a bad name.

Even if Pac has one more catch-weight fight he would have the same amount as Oscar, Pavlik, and Malignaggi.

Hopkins has more catch-weight fights than any other active fighter.

There are even more examples. But, why all of a sudden Pac has one catch-weight fight it became a sin? All of a sudden his whole career will be catch-weight fights. People act like he made this whole catch-weight fights up. When in fact it has been going on for years. But, why do people act this way when Pac does it? Is it racism? If you look at what is different from him and the other fighters who has done it is that he is Asian. The only Asian fighter out of the bunch. And, he gets criticized the most for doing it...

Is the conclusion racism? Or can anybody else explain to me on why he gets singled out?
Why does Mayweather get hate or fighting smaller fighters when he fought a WW champion(Hatton) and then Marquez(after a near 2 year layoff)?

People act like hes dfone that his whole career, when even 1 fight before he fought Oscar at 154.

So to answer your question- HATE.

JMM had a big disadvantage. Not hatton though.
I hate catchweights. I **** on Bhop all the time for it. I didn't like it when Pac did it. I didn't like it for Mayweather vs Marquez (esp when May came in 2 lbs over). I didn't like it for Diaz and Malignaggi. I think alot of people single him out because his catchweight fight was history making and people are just hating. I thought Cotto looked good at 145. All and all though I hate catchweights and I wish they'd get rid of them all together.
No ****, why not just get rid of the weightclasses and have fighters negotiate the weights?

Because he is the number 1 fighter right now and gets more press than anyone?

Also a major contribution is because most feel like Oscar was totally weight drained for their fight. Is that Pacs fault? NO, but thats still how people feel, so when he fought Cotto at a catchweight people complained...
