Is Mayweather vs. Malignaggi really that bad of a fight?

I'm sure I'm gonna be called crazy, but I don't see this as a easy showcase fight for Mayweather.

Stylistically, Paulie could give Floyd some problems. He has the speed, the elusiveness, the ring savvy to be competitive with Floyd. Obviously, I would FAVOR Floyd in this bout, but I don't see Floyd completely and totally outclassing him. Paulie has a great jab and movement, but his Achilles's heel would be his lack of power which would make it a somewhat safe fight for Floyd. He may take chances against Malignaggi.

The fight would defo be boring, though. I don't know if this would be a great choice if Floyd is trying to win fans over.

It is really bad. It's two counter punchers who do everything they can to avoid a fight. They would probably spend half of each round staring at each other while circling.

No. It would be a decent fight. Paulie won't run forward to get KOd or anything. Will be a classic technical boxing match.

That being said it won't exactly cement Mayweather as an ATG in my book.
