This isn't about DLH making the weight even based on the size difference between him and his opponent. This is about a 36 year old DLH not being able to fight 150, let alone at 147.
The point is that Pac was much smaller than Floyd. So a higher catchweight, from a bigger fighter in Floyd made more sense. A lower weight for fighting a smaller fighter in Pac, made sense.

No catchweight. It was 147, as requested by Oskie.

Steve Forbes, a career super featherweight and lightweight who's fought at welterweight on The Contender and light welterweight, breaking DLH's face at a 150 lb. catchweight bout is not impressive.

DLH knocking out Mayorga after a 20 month absence coming off the first KO loss of his career? Impressive. Fighting Mayweather at 154 for the WBC belt? Impressive.

Broken face vs. Forbes and 145 lbs. vs Pac? Not impressive.

I just hope no Pac fans come in here and acts like that was a good win for Pac.

Please just save us the trouble.

I know that. Thing is you woulda been better off just doing your thing without bringing that other guy's name into it, as if saying he made himself look foolish by making the post you quoted. You weren't just voicing an opinion, you were trying to **** on some other poster. So you made a ****** thread and it backfired. I'm just enjoying your self own and the extra added owns that followed it like everybody else. Stop getting mad.

                    What is your point?

                    What are you arguing?

Initially you said Pac drained DLH.. that is false.

                    DLH drained DLH.

Now you are saying DLH was drained, period... and we all agree with you.

Except for the fact that I looked at as over trained and dieted.

The win has weaksauce written all over it. Impressive that Pacman moved up two weight classes but to fight a weak drained De La Hoya? I don't think so.

Had DLH come in healthy, it would have been a sweet victory.
