Since Pacquiao is a public figure, he needs to establish malice on the part of Floyd Jr. and Sr. for his lawsuit to prosper.

Here's what I dug up. This does not include all the other statements made by Mayweather Sr, as cited in the legal brief submitted by Pacquiao's lawyer.

Floyd Mayweather Sr.:

"I don't think he can beat Lil' Floyd with steroids in him or not." (Grand Rapids Press)

If the case is filed in a state that recognizes "per se" defamation, where the allegations are presumed to cause damage to the plaintiff, the case will roll.

Attacks on a person's professional character or standing are considered per se defamation.

Regarding the "matter of opinion defense," accusing someone of being a lousy boxer is opinion.

Accusing someone of using illegal drugs without valid proof is defamation.

I mean Pac`s team has lied and acted fishy numerous times through out this whole debacle like:Pac is afraid of needles even though he has numerous tattoos,Ariza saying "Pac does`nt know what i give him",Roach saying Pac will take the test any time then asking for a five day cutoff, then Pac`s team changing it to 30 days then 24,then Arum lying by saying he never heard of a 14 day cutoff date offered by Floyd`s team,Then you got the talk of email being seen by Atlas sources and Daily news sources.And there`s other thing`s they lied about i believe.


I mean if those things are used against Pac can he win this case?


And if Pacquiao so but hurt about the allegations why not ask for hundreds of thousands or millions instead of 75,000?

the blood test is not the main subject of pac's lawsuit. the statements made by the mayweathers and gbp are.

gbp are gonna get sued too by top rank, according to arum, because of conflict of interest issues.

gbp still owns a portion of pacquiao, under an agreement it had signed with top rank.

when the dust settles, all gbp will end up are two lawsuits and lost income.
