It would be quite understandable if he were passing up, oh let's say $500,000, $2,000,000, $10,000,000. But A GUARANTEED $40 million?

Oh, he doesn't need that much money all that much but he'll take on another fighter for much less money cause a little money is better than no money.

If he still in fact wants to fight Mayweather possibly in the fall, as Arum says, then my reasoning is he's buying time for whatever reasons and doesn't think he'll be ready for a March date. But that still doesn't make any sense cause Freddie threw out the March date thinking Floyd would
reject it.

So the questions still linger. Why pass up $40 million if you've got absolutely nothing to hide?

Only other reasoning is he's clean but pride and ego at play on Team Pacquiao's part. "Nobody is going to dictate how Manny should be tested."

Geez, that should have been mentioned at the start of negotiations instead of letting it ride out with a myriad of excuses like "Manny is squeamish of needles".

I agree with you. Why would any santion make the Champion "cotto" give up the weight after he signs an 147 agreement. He was ripped off in this fight. Cotto should sue Top Rank, Pacman, and Roach.

Bob, roach and manny suckered cotto to come down to 145, know everyone is saying he weighed 146 for clottey, there is a big difference cause clottey did not ask for and demand money for weighing in more come weigh in, but pac made it seem like he couldnt and all of a sudden he easily make 147 like nothing.
