I wouldn't be surprised to see Julio freeze up and go into his shell like he did against Kirkland. I think Angulo will dominate and TKO him after about 6 rounds.

What's the reason for Angulo-Dzinziruk not happening?

Same reason as Adamek-Johnson and Adamek-Cunningham II didn't happen last year. Same reason as why Williams-Dzinziruk didn't happen. Same reason as Wlad-Chagaev was not televised by HBO.

The truth is, Mr. Ross Greenburg doesn't like European boxers and is very reluctant to allow them to appear on HBO.

They sure had a problem showing Bute, right? Truth is Greenburg doesn't like BORING European boxers. If you are exciting and can draw ratings then you will get on HBO. Has nothing to do with nationality.

This is also very true. In 2007 you know Calzaghe vs Kessler, a huge fight in Europe had the lowest HBO WCB and BAD ratings in years. Far lower than in any other fight in 2007.

Regarding Bute, they also model him as a Canadian, and Canada gets HBO, Europe does not.

Either way Bute was exciting and as long as he keeps fighting names he will continue to be put on HBO. Maybe Sergei should do what Bute did and fight on SHO, get his name out there, and then he might give HBO a reason to put him on the network.

Yes, it took them FOREVER to finally allow Bute on.

Anybody who says Adamek isn't an exciting fighter can't be a real boxing fan. If you didn't like Cunningham-Adamek I, you must hate boxing.

Adamek/Cunningham 2 just doesn't have the interest for HBO to throw dollars at. You bet your ass if Adamek fought Arreola they would put it on the network. A fight with Haye would also ****e interest by HBO too because HBO would probably view it as a stepping stone fight for one of these guys, as a future investment to their company.

HBO's interest in Bute-Andrade 2 came about became GBP promoted it.

HBO's favouritism towards GBP is well known.

I think they want Bute under contract because it'll help them to match him up against whoever wins the super six.
