    Toney's body work on Ruiz

Toney's right hand to Ruiz body was really effective last night:

Its goes to show that Toney's power is underestimated, he does not have that high KO percentage for nothing, and his natural weight is heavyweight, contrary to what the haters would like to have you believe.

No, he is still not a natural heavyweight and never will be. Good consistent bodypunching will do that.

Those weren't welts. That was ketchup that Toney's corner put on his gloves in order to do psychological damage to Ruiz! Talk about fighting dirty!

Weighing in at Heavyweight, and beating viable heavyweights makes you a Heavyweight.

                End of story.

Toney is bigger than Byrd, and no one questions Byrd being a Heavyweight and he too started at a lower wieght (168).

A long list of Heavyweights couldn't beat Ruiz. Toney did so clearly.

He's a 220-235 pound HEAVYWEIGHT who now holds a title.

Saying he isn't a Heavyweight is unjustified.

i agree, allthough he didnt used to be and aint naturaly hw its ridicouls to say that the new wba hw champ at 233 aint heavy.

Byrd aint more than about 210.

Toney is a heavyweight in that he technically weighed in over 200 lbs but his natural weight is light heavy at the highest. Even at cruiserweight he was soft. He has put on some muscle and a lot of fat, but he has a middleweight's frame.
