      How old is Mayweather?

If he continues to fight for let's say the next four or five years, then he must fight the best fighters available to him, not just Shane Mosley.

Respect isn't earned by just winning, it's earned by taking chances and going outside of your comfort zone. Examine all the great fighters and see what intangibles they all share in common. SRL retires the first time due to the eye issue, who did he fight in his comeback fight?

No one gave him a chance, but he still took it and to this day it's considered a classic fight. Win or lose you had to respect his willingness to comeback against the best fighter in the world at middleweight, a man who was naturally bigger than himself at the time and more active, who also happened to be a future HOF'er and ATG.

Bad for Pac. Like I said fighting Clottey will only give leverage to Mayweather when speaking of PPV numbers.

Pretty much no matter who Floyd fights he would sell more than Pac Clottey and judging on what Arum as stated, he's judging each guys next PPV number for the "future bout" for who would get the bigger cut.

EVERYONE wants to see Mayweather Mosley second to Mayweather Pac. If the fight happens it will do big! It needs to happen its the only fight other than Pac that I want to see Mayweather fight at this point and time.

I think 2 more at WW and then Floyd moves up to 154 for PWILL. IF he where to fight and beat Mosley and Pac I don't see a reason to stay unless rematches are demanded. Schooling PWILL at 154 would be the next option of "greatness". That or fighting Sergio Martinez at 154 if him and PWILL fight again and Sergio wins......

Wishful thinking on my part. Doubt and any of it would happen but I think it would be good.

1.5 million plus PPV buys easily....Pac vs Clottey will be lucky to break 800,000 buys......

Okay you already called me a moron but its clear by your plethora of foolish posts that you are the moron. Im not going to say you dont know anything about boxing because I dont know you, but it is clear that you lack common sense. Its actually baffling me because you seem to believe the things you post. Do you see it yet? If not I'd be gladly to show you. Blood test and all.

As of right now it will not be lineal because Pac is ranked #1 I think so he will be in the way. But, if Pac fights the winner of Shane-Floyd then that fight will be lineal...

He said that he'd be happy to ave the fight a little later (paraphrasing).

My own opinion id that he just wanted some free time, and was taken by surprise at the question of an imminent fight with the " top guy".

The incident you refer to is 2006...how bout the one when he was @ 135 and basically begged to fight Oscar or Mosley at 147 cause he heard they were moving back down......

Arguing over PPV sales is silly and a kid argument, it's akin to using records sales as the measuring stick for success, financially perhaps but in terms of legacy it's a baseless argument. 50 cent has sold a ton of albums, is he as highly regarded as Nas or Jay...nope.

To me this was Floyd comeback plan

                    1. Beat JMM---> hype for Pac is through the roof. Though i think they were hoping Cotto would beat Pac and the fight would be late 2010

                    2. Go to UK and slap Matt Hatton around for 12 rds

                    3. May vs PAc in Sep or Nov 2010

                    4. 2011----> Saul Alvarez in Mexico

                    5. Finish with a SSM fight and ride off into the sunset....

When he came out with that hitlist .....business and legacy wise this is how i envisioned it would look....
Do you know that could do close to 100,000 in attendance in Mexico... that is crazy that is how big Alvarez is over there. He is bigger than Marquez, Margarito, and Chavez Jr over there. So if you add Mayweather could really reach 100,000.

Floyd would be taking the same test while he would be TRAINING FOR AN ELITE FIGHTER!!!
Might be more difficult, but still doable, correct? I'm not saying Floyd would be boosted by giving blood, but if Manny says that he really doesn't like it, and is affected, then I'll believe it, somewhat reluctantly. It isn't so far-fetched to me. And he did say that he'd comply with any ruling by the state of Nevada. You really think he'd say that, if he was hiding something?
