It's a great fight speed vs speed but as with every fight I only see Floyd winning. What sort of testing would Floyd want for Shane though?

Idiot. ****tard. You don't even remember that happening because you started watching boxing about a year and a half ago.

floyd knew shane was not fighting for the rest of the year whe he "called him out."

      what are you smoking?

i guess floyd didnt also say that they play basketball together? that shane has five losses? that shane uses steroids?

      STFU, tool.

The better Mosley looks....means more cash for Floyd..he wants Shane to look good.

And Berto getting dominated has nothing to do with how Floyd-Shane would go considering Berto and Floyd fight nothing alike.

Floyd could easily make 7-10mil in Euros or whatever is called over there. Which would be $14-20mil in US dollars. For Matt Hatton bro. Plus if he fights Pac he will make 40mil later on in the year. Floyd is a smart business man. Floyd did not get where he is at for taking unnecessary risk. You can say whatever you want that he takes on all comers but he is very calculated on what he does. He is not an idiot far from it....

I can not speak for nobody else. I can only speak for myself. I understand Hatton fight. I don't think he ducked Shane. But, I felt Shane was the tougher fight. If he would of chose to fight Shane instead of Hatton. I would of gave him props. And, I would not consider that ducking Hatton. Again I can only speak for myself.

In 2006 it was known Shane was not fighting. He was talking about going on vacation before the Vargas fight. He even turned down Margarito. He said he was not fighting in November. And, when was the last time he fought more than 2 times in a calender year.

I see Floyd fighting Shane after Pac. If Shane looses, looks old and vulnerable then I can see that fight happening before Pac. We will see what happens. Only time will tell. One of us will be right and the other one is going to be wrong...

          May 1st- Mosley, Berto winner.

          November- Pacman.

          Simple.

That's funny you mention Cotto agreed to it, since Floyd agreed to the $10 million/pound penalty too.

The original debate was that jai mari078 claimed Floyd didn't want the fight with Pacquiao if he doesn't make the same demands of Shane that he made of Pacquiao.

Yet, Floyd's the one who agreed to all of Pac's demands. It was Pac who reneged on the idea of Olympic style testing after initially agreeing to it.

So I'm applying the same logic to Pacquiao. If he doesn't make the same demands of Clottey, then does it mean he didn't want the fight with Floyd?
well and good. but if floyd doesnt apply the same demands to shane, resolution?

read my previous posts. floyd cheated jmm on the weighing scale.

Scahfer, Oscar, GBP , Haymon, Ellerbe already said Olympic Testing will be in Floyds fights.

              Floyd couldn't make 144 Pounds....

The sides are no longer talking, last-minute attempts to strike a compromise appear to be futile, and Manny Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum, says he's three hours away from finalizing a site deal with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to stage an alternative Pacquiao fight at the team's stadium on March 13.

"If Bob's so strongly moving to the other fight, then we have no choice but to move on," Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s promoter Richard Schaefer told The Times this morning. "They didn't want the fight."

Mayweather and Pacquiao failed to strike a deal because of their dispute over blood testing for performance-enhancing drugs. Pacquiao, who has sued Mayweather for alleged defamation because of public statements made implying the Filipino star has used those drugs, won't accept a blood test closer than 24 days before the fight. Mayweather wants the fighters to be subject to blood tests up to 14 days before the fight. A Pacquiao advisor said the fighter himself has rejected the 14-day proposal.

Arum flatly said today that "the horse has left the building," in reference to a Mayweather fight, and instead was enthused to discuss his plans for Pacquiao's March 13 fight against welterweight contender Joshua Clottey. Clottey lost a decision last year to Miguel Cotto, who later lost to Pacquiao by 12th-round TKO in November.

"This place [Cowboys Stadium] is absolutely sensational; the boxing fans will love it," Arum said. "I can't even properly describe it without sounding crazy."

Arum attended Saturday night's Cowboys-Philadelphia Eagles game in Jones' private suite, a gathering that placed the ******* promoter in the same box as former President George W. Bush and conservative talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh.

"They both love Pacquiao, and [Bush] said he'll come to the fight if his schedule allows," Arum said.

Arum said Pacquiao will earn a minimum $10 million for the Clottey bout, with seating capacity being placed at 50,000.

Meanwhile, the Mayweather camp is considering its options for March 13 and beyond.

Take a fight at MGM Grand against someone liker Paulie Malignaggi? Wait until a later date, like May 1, and fight longtime rival Shane Mosley if he defeats Andre Berto on Jan. 30?

Schaefer said Mayweather is willing to fight Mosley, a pairing that will conclude years of jawing between the two gifted foes that have long been near the top of the world's top pound-for-pound lists. Mosley is currently a world welterweight champion.

"At 147 pounds, the man to beat is 'Sugar' Shane Mosley," Schaefer said. "Floyd will take that fight, and will shut up all those who are saying he's a coward."
DAMN, the Pats gettin' raaaaaaaaaaaaped *lol*

You know what... I would laugh my ass off especially at Bob Arum if Mayweather takes this fight... wins it... Mosley retires... and Mayweather says **** U to Pacquiao and makes a farewell fight against M. Hatton in Wembley... and Pacquiao is left with hmmmm... Margarito? P-Williams? Marquez at 38? It won't happen though...

Seriously, this is the best way of giving it back to Arum... the March 13th date is not good... because at that time you won't have a real challenge there... no real good WW is available or is an Bob Arum fighter. So you wait till May... fight and beat Mosley... become the best WW... you will make better numbers then Pacquiao (which gives you again a good shot at the negotiation table)... and everything looks even better then before.

I hope it happens... the sports media couldn't disrespect the win or they would show their double standard... boxing scene fans of course would find a way to discredit... but who are they... let them start a petition or something about how Mayweather should be discredited with the Mosley win...

I'm all for it... Mayweather vs. Mosley is a fight that fans wanted to see for years... Pacquiao arrived later at this weight... before this was never mentioned... Mayweather vs. Mosley bring it on... if this fight is signed he can if he wants too even fight Hatton in March... I don't give a **** then...

                Bring it on!!!

Yep hes sticking it to Arum.

Mayweather beating Mosley basically FORCES Pac to fight him.

Probably you should have read what Schaefer said about it... can somebody post the article here again... it was the one were Mosley was considered a free agent after one more fight with Golden Boy...

Schaefer said it himself... after the Baldomir fight... they had Floyd on the table... DLH said to Mosley that he has first choice for a fight that should have happened a half year later (where he fought DLH). Mosley said no, he wants a vacation... so DLH took the fight... I don't know why anybody need that long of vacation... but if Shane wanted it ok...

That they played B-Ball together is a FACT.
That Shane has 5 looses is a FACT.
That he took PED's is also a FACT.

                      Why shouldn't Floyd say that.
