If I remember correctly Shane wanted to fight Floyd after Oscar. But, Floyd retired and came back out of retirement to fight Hatton. Big money fight. Did great numbers more power to Floyd. I don't consider that a duck either.

I give you 99, Floyd wanted to fight Shane after Shane fought Brown. I give you that. But, Shane went to go fight Oscar was that a duck?

If you believe Floyd will fight Shane if dominates Berto before fight Pac. Then hey you have more faith in him than I do. Floyd could possibly make damn near the same amount of money fighting M. Hatton in the U.K then fighting Shane here...
If Goldenboy is advocating for a fight with shane then thats whats going to happen. Goldenboy will overpay and so will HBO. Those two things aint happening with a Matthew Hatton.

Also, nobody knew shane was "not fighting for the rest of 2006" it was ****in july for christ sakes. Shane wanted to fight Mayweather in 07 this is true, but if he did fight shane, everyone would say he was ducking ricky hatton, and dont even pretend like thats not what would have been said, since there are countless accusations of that shortly after he knocked out castillo, i was on here when it happened.

Regardless, Shane in 99 and shane in 06 had his chances, he was younger and coming off of good wins. Mayweathers career isnt based on begging guys for fights for 10 years and then when they finally want it, hes supposed to appease shane the moment he wants it. The only person you do that with is Oscar.

I just agreed with you and gave you more examples. I guess you expected me to be on Pac's **** or something? I am on no fighters **** like you and some other posters on here bro... I don't get in none of this flame wars. I speak from what I have seen, what I know, and what I feel... Of course Pac saw something in Cotto that is why he chose to fight him instead of Shane at 140. Pac also saw something in Margarito that is why he called him out after Margarito beat Cotto.

        why the red herring?

i'm asking if mosley will be asked to undertake random blood tests. will gbp require their own fighter to undertake random blood tests because they vehemently refused to have mosley do so only a few years ago.

        dont duck the question.
how can he possibly know that???

          You're a complete ****ing tool.

When did he say he didn't want to fight Mosely? YEARS AFTER Mosely ducked him twice.

Idiot. ****tard. You don't even remember that happening because you started watching boxing about a year and a half ago.

I'd be happy if they did, and fully support the idea.

That's funny you mention Cotto agreed to it, since Floyd agreed to the $10 million/pound penalty too.

The original debate was that jai mari078 claimed Floyd didn't want the fight with Pacquiao if he doesn't make the same demands of Shane that he made of Pacquiao.

Yet, Floyd's the one who agreed to all of Pac's demands. It was Pac who reneged on the idea of Olympic style testing after initially agreeing to it.

So I'm applying the same logic to Pacquiao. If he doesn't make the same demands of Clottey, then does it mean he didn't want the fight with Floyd?

Golden boy is also reaching up to M. Hatton people and Malignaggi. And, don't forger Floyd is more loved by the boxing media in the U.K then he is here. Floyd has a fanbase over there. Floyd could easily make 7-10mil in Euros or whatever is called over there. Which would be $14-20mil in US dollars. For Matt Hatton bro. Plus if he fights Pac he will make 40mil later on in the year. Floyd is a smart business man. Floyd did not get where he is at for taking unnecessary risk. You can say whatever you want that he takes on all comers but he is very calculated on what he does. He is not an idiot far from it....

I can not speak for nobody else. I can only speak for myself. I understand Hatton fight. I don't think he ducked Shane. But, I felt Shane was the tougher fight. If he would of chose to fight Shane instead of Hatton. I would of gave him props. And, I would not consider that ducking Hatton. Again I can only speak for myself.

In 2006 it was known Shane was not fighting. He was talking about going on vacation before the Vargas fight. He even turned down Margarito. He said he was not fighting in November. And, when was the last time he fought more than 2 times in a calender year.

I see Floyd fighting Shane after Pac. If Shane looses, looks old and vulnerable then I can see that fight happening before Pac. We will see what happens. Only time will tell. One of us will be right and the other one is going to be wrong...

hell yes i agree.. Hbo has been wanting mosley vs. Mayweather for years now.

also, nobody knew shane was "not fighting for the rest of 2006" it was ****in july for christ sakes. Shane wanted to fight mayweather in 07 this is true, but if he did fight shane, everyone would say he was ducking ricky hatton, and dont even pretend like thats not what would have been said, since there are countless accusations of that shortly after he knocked out castillo, i was on here when it happened.

exactly july 2006, larry merchant asked shane 4 times "why not mayweather in november"..shane had a million excuses "toothache".."vacation"..."i was in a war with vargas" (when he easily beat vargas).....then he said on friday night fights the next week that he wanted to fight margarito. Floyd vs. Hatton was the biggest fight in boxing when it went down everybody wanted that fight.

regardless, shane in 99 and shane in 06 had his chances, he was younger and coming off of good wins. damn you on the money homie. Floyd wanted shane at 135 and 147 there are countless videos to prove it. Shane never wanted to fight floyd until he seen he could make a buck off of him. Its funny......why are even talking about this?.....schafer said they want shane-mayweather and the haters always try to take you on all kinds of twists and turns. They screamed for floyd to fight shane..they said lets do it and they still bitter. Its amazing. Your right shane had his chances.
