He lost to cotto and margarito...isnt that obvious that pacman would **** him....
    What was his credentials?

    Just Asking......
He,s top rank. You clearly didn't watch either the cotto or marg , fight. The only reason he lost to cotto was because he let him steal a couple late rounds by not being active. And against margs he hurt his hand, and its hard to beat an agressive guy like marg with one hand. He is very solid, never been ko'd and is technically a good boxer, should be a tough fight for pac, and at the very least it will be exciting. He doesn't have an amazing resume, but he has fought more top WW's than floyd, and he beat judah and baldomir (if it he didn't get disqualified, was winning on card up until that point) and those are the only two guys floyd has beat at WW.

His power is decent, very low actvity rate, too stationary and goes on the defensive for too long. Clottey has the perfect style to beat people like Margarito, Cotto, Shane, Berto but stylistically, Pacquiao is all wrong for him. I give Clottey a better chance at beating Mayweather then I do Pacquiao and that says alot.

Clottey is competitive. He shows heart in the ring, even when losing.

He's also the more logical choice.

Simple because Clottey is better than Malignaggi, Matthew Hatton, And He can give a good fight. He edges Cotto

It shouldnt matter who he lost againest - its who the fighter is and what kind he is. This could be a nightmare for Pac or it could be a cake walk - we'll see.
well since clottey whupped cottos ass then gave him the fight the triangle theory wouldnt work even if i wanted to use one, and i never do. i never said anything about the fighters clottey lost to eighter.

styles do make styles and we do know clotteys style fits pac perfectly. im not hating i just know boxing and understand why the fights being made.

clottey is another guy who comes straight forward and stand right in front of you, on top of that he has no headmovement and fights in spurts leaving openings for pac to flurry. hes tailor made for manny.

it takes someone with good defense and counterpunching to beat manny. someone who has good lateral movement, is fast and attacks on angles. does any of that sound like clottey?

no, clottey is another guy like barrerra, hatton and cotto who will just come straight forward and try to overpower pac and that will never ever work. he just uses angles and speed to box circles around these guys and pick them apart.

to beat pac u need to make him come to u and do all the things i mentioned already. pac will make easy work of clottey trust me.

Because he's a Top Rank fighter and he's tailor made for Pac.

And, even though Pacquiao has proved that size doesn't matter, casual fans will see him beat down a much bigger guy in Clottey and think how amazing it is.

It could backfire though, and steroid allegations would only be brought to the forefront again if Pac KO's him. That's a big if, but not impossible.

because hes with top rank, i think all other non-top rank fighters will ask for olympic testing vs manny and rightly so.
