My thing with this I don't get why Floyd would move up in weight when he already has won a title at 154.

I like the Zaveck fight....Then he can grab the IBF Belt.

these are the top welterweights as per the ring (outside of Pacquiao and Mayweather)

          1. Mosley- sked to fight Berto
          2. Cotto- Top Rank
          3. Clottey- Top Rank and tentatively scheduled to fight Pacquiao
          4. Margarito- Top Rank and still suspended
          5. Berto- sked to fight Mosley
          6. Collazo- no schedule, under Don King
          7. Jackiewicz- Bullit Knockout
          8. Zaveck- Branco Millenkovic/Branco Sports Productions

So its only Collazo, Jackiewicz, Zaveck that is available. Unless Mayweather goes further down the ranks, and fight someone like Matthew Hatton, who is ranked a lowly #40 by boxrec.

              Good point.......

As a Floyd fan if hes going to fight on March 13th or the 20th...I want to see him get the IBF Belt...which would make unification at 147....a reality.

This is a fight that will never happen...lol.

Floyd hurts hs marketability vs. Spinks.

Im bout to do some research on the Zaveck guy.

Well it's like the *****s crying about Pacquiao having to stay 147 and not go back down to 140 if he beat Cotto since it would make him a full fledged welterweight. Even though it's very obvious Pacquiao could easily make 140 still at this point in his career.

Mayweather beat arguably the #1 154lber at the time so in my opinion he should have been fighting at 154 this whole time instead of fighting lightweights and jr welters at 147 since he's a full fledged jr middleweight.

adrian 28 i know floyd has a tittle at 154 already but the only interesting fights are there imo

still i'd pay for any PBF i dont care who is the opponent.
