Would Toney have won even if he hadn't last night?

Get my meaning? I feel this was less a title bout, more of a way to get rid of Ruiz by any means necessary. Is Toney still linked to King now, that's the case, right?

Ruiz was a box office catastrophe and a fighter no one likes... even if it had been close on the score cards or Ruiz was ahead (and, whether Toney was allowing it or not, I had Ruiz possibly ahead until the half-way stage) would Toney still have got that "win"?

Toney was good last night, but did he prove anything? He's beat a washed-up Holyfield, a guy I never heard of, and one of the worst belt holders of all time... it'll be harder when he has to swallow all that pride against Vitali's fists.

Dear god. Please send a typhoon to wash the heavyweight division away. Thanks.
