In my mind, this is one of the better alternative match ups for Pacquiao now that the Maywheather deal is dead. There are other great fighters in the division, but Clottey is certainly one of the best of those who is available for that time. Plus, Clottey is a tough guy and a solid boxer. It won't be a walk in the park for either men.

I think the last paragraph nearly proves bernard hopkins was right. Floyd will fight shane, pacquiao will fight that ***ish kid (although that ***ish kid turned into a big black Ghanaian) and they'll fight at the end of the year for all the marbles.

I can't be that disappointed this sounds like a good fight to me. If Mayweather fights the Berto-Mosley winner and they fight later this year it would be a great year of WW boxing.
