Yup, this i know of. Even the founder of the Philippines' infamous Abu Sayyaf was a veteran of Afghanistan. All the fundamentalists that are shaking the world today have been created with the aid of the US in one way or another, and the chickens have finally come home to roost it seems.

No, taliban wasnt made by pakistan army, they may have supported them

taliban, initially where afghan orphans who fleed to pak, to escape the communists, USA thru pakistan helped the mujaiden to get rid of the soviets by giving them money/arms and all the rest,

after the mujaiden got power of afghanistan, they divded into groups and kept on bombing eachother, the orphans who had fleed to Pak were being taught in madrassahs funded by Saudis, taught the extreme islam and then went back to afghanistan and practised strict islamic law, and kicked out the mujaiden

the taliban in pak is different, they have too many different natioanlities, there, some paks, some afgahns, usbeks, chechans u name it, they are bombing everywhere in pak becuz pak army is killing them in Waziristan, and supporting America...

Yes it pretty is a crazy mix, only goes to show how difficult it is to restore order in that region, too many stakeholders invloved.

cant argue with that,i did think taliban was formed in pakistian and sent back over to fight the soviet war,didnt know they were afgan orphans though
