Nevada also bans lidocaine use by boxers.

"There would’ve actually been precedence for making such a request. It was revealed prior to his failed middleweight title bid against Bernard Hopkins in 2004 that de la Hoya took Lidocaine, a pain killer deemed illegal by Nevada State Athletic Commission standards, to speed up the healing process for a cut suffered on his hand. Hopkins appeared visibly upset when informed of the news prior to their fight, but didn’t seem too bothered by it after stopping him in the ninth round, or joining up with Golden Boy Promotions a few weeks later."

If there's no proof then why dictate a battery of tests for Pacquiao? Why create an issue based on allegations from a person with 0 credibility? Are they too impressed with Pacquiao's accomplishments and afraid that Mayweather might lose the fight?

btw, I heard from Mayweather himself that Pacquiao is an easy fight.

it is also illegal in nevada, brah. DLH was caught but wasnt punished because he claimed that he used it to treat a cut on his hand just before the BHop fight.

it is illegal now, not when Floyd supposedly used it back in 2002.
