Keep in mind i have been saying Toney was the best HW for a long time, that just may be my opinion but i think his skills are far superior to anyone else in the Div with Bryd at a close second. Toney is by far NOT the best heavyweight in the divison. He is dam lucky ruiz was not smothering his ass because the way he fought, he would have lost.
I don't think it was Toney slipping out and avoiding the clinches I think Ruiz just tryed something new.
Toney has no shot at VK, he would be creamed. Just look at the size advantage for one, VK knows how to put that jab in someones face, he knows how to move, which may look like running away I admit, but its effective at getting away, I think his akward style would make it impossible for toney to effectivly counter him all night and score.
Calling ruiz a bum right now isnt saying much for Toney either, like other people have said, Toney did not dominate Ruiz. Toney got the W tonight and for now that is all that matter I guess.
I give Ruiz major credit for fighting a different fight then he is used to, and not looking too bad.
Toney is going to let this win over this " bum " get to his head and step up to someone who is going to put his lights out.Comment
