All 3 Clottey losses are questionable

Joshua clottey is a good fighter and if there is no catchweight and is allowed to fully hyrdate- he can balloon up to 165. His career has had ups and downs. His first lost was a disputed DQ to Baldomir. Some thought he was winning the fight but was Disqualified for headbutting too many times.

His second loss was to Margocheater. Now no one can say 100% either way, but Clottey was winning the early rds than started to be less active in the late rds. In rd 11, Clottey pretty much ran away- the gloves could have been loaded or maybe not? Yet two judges had the fight fairly close
    116-112.

His final loss was to Cotto, a fight he landed like 30-40 more punches. I scored it a 114-114 draw, 6-5-1(even), and with the kd it was even.

Nonetheless, Clottey has another chance to prove himself. I think it will be very close as long as there is no catchweight or weight drainning.

Pac will be tested mentally with the issues with Jinkee, politics, and the mayweather opera. i dont think it will be distracting but who knows?

Havent you watched the Clottey-Magarito fight?
He hurt his hand and fought most of the fight one-handed, thats the main reason he lost

          Clottey is a good fighter.
          Baldomir was a Dq
          Margacheato an injury?/too much rehydrating?/Plaster?
Cotto a draw/win at least a bad decision.

He could have been WW King by now if he threw more punches

I'm not sure that questionable is really the right word to use (sorry if that sounds like nitpicking on my part) because only one of those fights (Baldomir) was the result of questionable officiating.

I thought that he lost to Margarito clearly. Yeah, maybe Marg was wearing illegal wraps, but the key in that fight was how Clottey seemed to virtually give up after 4/5 rounds.

I scored his fight with Cotto 114-113 for MG. Close fight, but IIRC most felt that he deserved to lose that one. I don't regard a decision as questionable unless most people disagreed with it.

Clottey is not a bad opponent.

Is Manny going to finish his career by fighting only Top Rank opponents?

Plus I think Clottey doesn't throw enough punches.

I saw it once on ESPN, do u know which rd he hurt his hand? I had him winning most of the rds until 7.

In fairness, Clottey never mentioned the loaded gloves theory, so he made no excuses like true fighters do.

I'm pretty sure it was round 4. He went back to his corner and told them about the injury after that round (the commentators heard them and mentioned it at the time)
