Reading the LA Times blog, it seems like Arum never went to Pacquiao with the deal for 14 days...

If it was communicated before, Mayweather fans would say Pacquiao ducked.
If it was communicated only after mediation, Pacquiao fans would say Floyd ducked.

But yeah, they should take it. The terms IMO, are now the fairest they could ever be, i don't see either side budging after this.

The only way both sides would want this not to happen now is if they feel a March 13 date is not enough to prepare. Come to think of it, maybe this drama is meant to justify and keep up the hype till later in the year when they do actually fight.

Bob is the problem. Always has been. To be fair to Manny, I thought he knew about the 14 day cut off. He needs to tell bob to **** off and let him make that huge pay day.

You can't just blame Arum. He wouldn't be paying people to work with GBP and Mayweather's team to get the fight going if he really didn't want the fight to happen. It looks more to me that Floyd is playing games as Pac's team have openly admitted to blood and urine tests. What's checking the blood 14 days before going to do? Do they have PED themselves they know aren't traceable within 14 days AND immediately after the fight in their blood?

I've been giving both guys the benefit of the doubt, but to me it seems like the Pacquiao team are compromising (with already ridiculous demands that no other fighter's had to deal with when fighting Floyd) the best they can and they truly don't look like they're hiding anything whatsoever nor has anything in the past given anyone that assumption besides what 1 or 2 people said in the media thus people making it to be true. To think that 50% of Americans still believe the Sun revolves around the Earth...lol

They were in a room together for 8 hrs making multiple proposals and at no point did Floyd or Schaeffer say out loud "how bout we cut it down to 14 days?"
