Clottey is not that good. If Cotto knocked him down with a jab Pac is going to walk through him.

I do give Pac props for taking on Clottey no doubt but its not like you all are making it out to be. If Cotto tagged up clottey Pac will have no problems and its going to be a easy win for him.

Look for Roach to stipulate a certain amount that he can weigh on fight night
He wont allow Clottey to weigh more than 155 come fight night
Agreed Pacquiao is going to look so flashy hitting a sitting target. Clottey's style is made to look Pacquiao look flashy, I don't see too many punches landing clean but it'll look real pretty and set up an easy UD. Unless Clottey's concrete head gashes up Pacquiao that is.

He won't. Pacquiao's speed will be a big factor and Clottey will probably get more discouraged, or whatever it is when he stop throwing, than usual. Pacquiao's stlye will annoy Clottey.

The dude is tough no doubt, but it seems like he's just another name top fighters keep getting W's over.
He looked decent at best against Zabdiel, and straight up bad against Alvarez. I didn't see the Baldomir fight, but that's another fight he let slip away.

I'm not looking to attack the guy. He's tough and takes on all comers, but he seems like a name some boxing fans throw around to show that they know something about the sport. He hasn't really done anything to deserve that kind of praise.

Pacman will beat Clottey. As I've already stated previously, the only thing really going for Clottey is that he is tough as nails. Clottey will win a round here and there but he usually goes to sleep every other round. This will be a fairly easy UD for Pacman.

I can see Clottey winning this fight, Hopefully its not at a catch weight. I wonder why they chose Clottey as his next opponent, why not wait for Shane?

I kind of suspected that Pacquiao would beat Cotto. Cotto was there to be hit and didn't have the right speed in order to beat Pacquiao.

Clottey is a different story, however.

Clottey will have a huge fight night weight advantage over Pacquiao. Even bigger than Cotto's. He also has a great, turtle-like defense to stop Pacquiao's punches.

Clottey doesn't isn't a knockout puncher but he's a decent counter puncher. And for a huge welterweight like him, I think he can earn Pacquiao's respect.

I basically see an upset with Clottey winning by decision. What are you thoughts?
it could end up looking like mosley vs wright 1 & 2, if clottey engages in exchanges out of his turtle defense........ who knows, all i do know, is if the fight is close to being made, we all know clottey isnt going to hork things up with extra demands that are outside of what the commission asks for.....

if Clottey is active all 12, Pacquiao will have some trouble. If he does that he can probably wear Pac down late. But thats only if Clottey stays active the whole fight.

But who knows, Pac could possibly outclass him and really make a statement.

Mayweather would never consider Clottey but considers 140 fighters.

Who has the bigger balls here?
