clottey atm would beat anyone @ 147 with the exception of Floyd and P Williams. 2 fighters who are stylistically Clotteys kryptonite.

I love SSM but style wise Clottey would give him problems IMO.

I am a huge Paq fan but I cant see him hurting Clottey, Joshua is very underrated, difficult, and avoided by other top fighters. Give it to Paq if this fight happens, Floyd could outbox Clottey but would never have the balls to get in the ring with him.

Josh in fact a huge threat to Pacquiao. He stood toe to toe with both Margarito and Cotto, and many people felt he won both fights. Ripped right through the late Diego Corrales. This is the same dude who wanted Paul Williams.

This is a good fight to be made if in fact its true. Clottey is not an aged DLH nor is he a chinny Cotto. Hes a solid fighter all the way through who is very well still in his prime.

This is the wrong fight for Pacquiao, next to no one thinks Clottey will actually win. He is tough as nails but he had a close fight in the summer with Cotto and lost, and Pac just dominated Cotto. Bob Arum needs to stop trying to match up Pac with other Top Rank fighters and get Pacquiao down to defend his lineal title at 140 against the number one contender Tim Bradley, who also has a free schedule. At least Bradley is more technical and has movement which is a different kind of fight for Pacquiao and I can see it going more like a Pac-Marquez fight than a Pac-De La Hoya style one sided drubbing.

Which leaves Mayweather free to duck the Mosley-Berto winner and fight another mediocre opponent.

Clottey is not a hard puncher, Cotto punches harder than Clottey. And Pac is not weak to the body, where is that coming from? Didn't Cotto landing massive left hooks to Pac's body convince you he can take it?

Umm no, Cotto hardly threw to Pac's body, check the early rounds where Pac stayed on the ropes and Cotto did nothing. And have you been in the ring with Clottey? Do you know how hard he punches?! Clottey is more than capable to knock out Pac with a body shot then Cotto with a head shot.
