i am certain that this fight will not happen. No way Arum serves up his golden goose to Clottey. Cause I dont see Pac beating Clottey if he comes to fight and does so for 3 min. of each round for 12 rounds. I am sure he learned from his lost to Cotto that u have 2 go hard for 36 minutes.

this is an easy fight for manny. clottey is a bum. he dont throw enough punches, gasses out in fights, and has no stamina. clottey might be bigger and stronger but he has no skills. and skills wins fights. clotteys pretty much marquez without the skill and heart.

Easy win do to styles, Clottey is a stationary target that slowly come walking in straight lines, with a tucked/peek a boo style and has a low out put and bad stamina. Tough dude, But with Pac just boxing and jumping in out all night, easy win.

I wouldn't be too sure.....Pac would need to execute Roach's strategy to a tee in order to beat Clottey......either that or ask for a catchweight of 142 and get Arum to fix the result. Judah was doing ok against Clottey in the first 2 or 3 rds....but Clottey caught up to him and started laying on the punsishment.

I don't think this fight will happen. I doubt Roach will want to put Manny in there against a guy like Clottey who isn't a huge draw but a huge risk. Also Clottey knows how to throw a str8 right.

Also Clottey beat Cotto (no disrespect to Cotto fans or the man himself).

If this happens ima put a big bet down on Clottey.

Joshua Clottey can beat Manny Pacquiao.

clottey atm would beat anyone @ 147 with the exception of Floyd and P Williams. 2 fighters who are stylistically Clotteys kryptonite.

I love SSM but style wise Clottey would give him problems IMO.

Great damage control fight by Top Rank. Clottey's an excellent fighter, it will be a great test for Manny. I'd be very, very interested to see how he performs against a tougher dude than Cotto.

Hmmmm... Pacquioao just said he doesnt want to fight Yuri because of the disadvantages at hand but I wonder if he is aware that Clottey is known to come in to fight at 165-170lbs in fights at times... Pacquiao for damn sure wont be able to hurt him either and if Pacquiao does hurt him when they fight then **** that Pacquiao is on steroids lol... Even Margarito with his plaster couldnt hurt Clottey...haha... but at the end of the day this fight wont happen either

Clottey is just a slightly bigger version of all the fighters manny's fought in the past what real reason is there to believe this will progress differently.
