This article you show came out first like HOURS ago and everyone was burning Floyd for NOT MAKING A COUNTER OFFER, budging or negotiating at all and simply "refusing" the fight like BOB ARUM said or LIED in his case to the media to damage floyds reputation. Bob Arum lied to everyone about what happened in the mediation.

The article you showed was old, but the latest update from a couple of hours ago on this whole scenario is:

Arum lied about the mediation and how Al Haymon and Golden Boy Promotions "TRIED to Convince Mayweather but Mayweather refused the fight" this is supported by two articles in which seperately Al Haymon and the Judge both imply that Bob Arum and Team Pacquiao made False Allegations against Mayweather. The Federal Judge/Mediator was picked by Bob Arum himself and GBP agreed to it as hehas resolved their problems before (Toprank and GBP).

Read these two articles, which prove bob arum is a lying scumbag:

Haymon disputes that he tried to convince Mayweather:

Mediator Claims Team Pacquiao made False allegations:

"The parties and their representatives authorized that, if misinformation was disclosed to the press by either side, the Mediator would correct any erroneous information."

MAYWEATHER AND HIS TEAM DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING AND FOLLOWED THIS, YET BOB ARUM CAME UP WITH LIES/FALSE ALLEGATION/VIOLATING THE STRICT CONFIDENTIALITY OF THE MEDIATION.

The mediator just did his job because incorrect/false allegations were made, and any misinformation was made the mediator said he would correct it, which he did, props to him.

    c. "Any attempt to characterize the mediation process as an acceptance or rejection by any of the parties of a mediator's or an arbiter's proposal or of any specific proposal is false."

    d. "In the end, the parties could not agree on a testing protocol acceptable to all."

    c. and d. prove no one accepted or rejected anything they just couldn't agree on the testing protocol after 9 hours yet Arum and the media made floyd look like he is ducking and damaged his reputation through false statements made by Bob Arum.
btw, please state what floyd reputation is and what damage was created? calling him a ducker or a ***** or anything else have already always been in play when you mention floyd. so really no damage was done. noone was shocked by calling him a ***** ducker etc.

though i don't approve of any false statements that are incorrect.

besides the fact he mentioned that "al haymon didn't try to convince gayweather". does not in fact make the WHOLE statement false. GBP etc was also part of that statement and i'm sure they would have had input in saying they didn't try to convince him in taking the deal.

^^that's if you want to get inbetween the lines and logical analysis of the statements.

Remember that you said that. It means that you are basically saying that Pac should accept it. Pac fans always do that, and then if Pac says NO they try to justify that

Mayweather camp made and effort just like Pacquiaos, the only difference is one team talked/jumped the gun to quick.

Whether he did or not its out there, We all know now that 14 days is all the fight needs to be made, So 14 days is not good enough for Pacqauio then i give up.

I think Pac should accept it, it'd be BS for him not to. I just think that this is all a game to hype everyone up. I also think Arum played some games with PBF this morning forcing him to either come up with a better offer (this 14 day) or look like a coward. Looks like Mayweather got a taste of his own medicine.

Well 14 days is at the very least a good starting point for further negotiations

If Floyd really proposed a 14-day cut off then it means he's trying.
Pac should accept and fight should happen. I say this as a Pac fan myself.

Because the mediator said no one is allowed to talk about negotiations as they are supposed to be strictly confidential. Bob Arum violated this agreement and made false statements about Mayweather which were later exposed as lies by the mediator himself AND Al Haymon. (Arum said Haymon tried to convince Floyd and Floyd refused the fight [Haymon and the Judge both denied this] WITHOUT making any counter offer, negotiating or budging lower than 24 days.)

Floyd respected the confidentiality of the mediation but until Arum made so many LIES about floyd, he spoke up and said "enough is enough I have been patient all this time during the negotiations, I offered pacquiao's team 14 days and they refused this.

Bottom line: Whether your a ******* or not, 14 days is a more than reasonable offer. Even diehard fans like Chups have admitted this.

Gayweather did not offer that concession in the negotiations. He just said to the media so he will not going to look like a chicken bi@tch.

Yep. Everything else is all good aside from this, so unfortunately if Pacquiao's team will not agree to the 14 day window, which appears reasonable, then it seems there is no conclusion other than his team doesn't want the fight.

Why that may be the case only they know.
