Lets hope there isn't too much clinching. I was telling Reed that I'd love to see how Mosley deals with Berto's uppercut. I'd be satisfied with Berto landing one of those uppercuts, a flush one too.

Shane is coming off a long layoff. This will lead to a slow build, but I'm sure he'll take over after that. Perhaps he'd be in danger if Berto could KO him, but that won't happen. While Shane may not run him over completely I think he controls the fight with power more so than anything else. Berto has never been tagged hard and will be in this fight. PBF will be Shane's first choice but Shane can forget about that. I expect to see Shane vs Pac this year though.

I think he has the power to keep Mosley honest. Not hurt him, but make him respect him. Sorta like Winky. Berto isn't a one-punch KO guy but he has decent pop. I rewatched that Mosley-Margarito bout and what stood out to me (which hadn't before), was how much Shane got tagged. He got hit plenty only Margarito was always still standing around to eat the return fire. Berto won't. Plus, I'm curious as to why HBO put their young investment in with a seasoned HOF like Mosley. If this fight is close...

It's not going to happen cause Mosley will want pac to take the same random drug test as well..

Mosley will clinch Berto on the inside. Also Naazim Richardson specializes in short inside 3 inch punches; the ones Hopkins likes to use so much. Berto's inside fight game is terrible. Collazo was punishing him on the inside, whereas Collazo got decimated by Mosley on the inside.

I really hope Shane beats Berto up and then gets his big pay day. He is a great guy and has been great for the sport and deserves to go out with plenty of $$$.

I don;t know man. They probably have seen serious flaws in the Forbes, Collazo, and Urango fight. Fights which were supposed to be easy exhibitions for Berto. Also if Mosley wins they get to make a huge money fight off him against either Pacquiao or mayweather one last time, and if Berto wins, they hey they have a new name. Either way HBO wins. However, I see Berto losing soon to a puncher with stamina.

Oh, I agree. Plenty of flaws in Berto and even if the Shane who fought Margarito shows up, he should stop Berto. Except I saw signs of slowing down in Shane in that fight and I can only imagine what the layoff has done to him. Furthermore, while those fights you mentioned weren't easy for Berto, he toughed each one out and gained something far more important: experience.

Again, if you put a gun to my head I'd pick Mosley. But this fight is not a foregone conclusion. At all.
