i'm quite sure roach and manny are trying to avoid a similar situation with how the mayweathers buttf**ked marquez...manny agrees to floyd's unreasonable demands, then it will be manny's trunks, manny's shoelaces, manny's spitbucket, etc...i think you get my point....

Ok, you want Floyd to do more for boxing. But that really isn't the issue here.

Using your logic, Floyd shouldn't have agreed to 50/50, to that rididuclous weight infraction rule, etc because he's giving too much ground. But he did. And if he wanted out, he could've said 'nay' to any one of those things. Or the other requests (gloves, etc). But he agreed to everything. The real question is, why does Pacquiao have such an issue taking these tests?

        Ditto!!

There are no good sides in this travesty. Diva Ego's surrounded by camps who would rather take less money for far lighter risks. That is the bottom line. The excuses you see in here and in the media are just that, excuses.

The meat of the problem is Ego's and Money. Sure 40 million for both sounds like a lot, but that 40 million comes with a huge gamble of losing for both. It would be easier for both sides to fight 2 lesser opponents and make the same or more. That is the real meat of the issue.

no, i want floyd to fight...his olympic testing crusades, he can do that on his own time...lol

ok now we are talking about two different things here, s**t that these fighters normally negotiate, weight, money, etc....and then there's this testing stuff...so i'll try to break it down:

floyd agreed to 50/50...sounds about right to me....manny's definitely been a bigger draw way longer...

regarding the weight....imo manny shouldn't need a catchweight after the way he flattened cotto, but if floyd agreed to a catchweight, we know he ain't honoring it, so that wasn't that big of a deal for the mayweathers to say yes....

now regarding the tests, I just read that floyd rejected manny's offer to take a blood test 24 or so days before, and immediately after the fight...sounds reasonable to me...sounds like floyd has an issue with manny's offer more than anything....

again, just fight floyd, and if you lose and manny comes up positive, deal with it from that point....

40 million doesnt mean as much to Manny as it does to floyd. Manny can live like a king for what he has now, he doesnt buy boats and all the bling bling floyd shows off with. Manny boxes because he loves to box and for his fans. The other guy doesnt. Why does everybody think Manny really gives a **** about 40 million? he knows that that is more than he really needs. The guy just likes to put on a show and just box.

If you think 24 days is reasonable then there's nothing left for us to discuss. Catch you on those other threads though .

You never should have changed your mind. The fact that Pac refused random testing has never changed. He still looks like he has something to hide.

Well, he is the first. Just because no one has ever asked for something, doesn't mean you can. Team Pac asked Mayweather to pay a 10 million dollar fine for every pound he might come over the limit. Has anyone ever asked that ridiculous amount? No. And Mayweather agreed to it.

Floyd isn't just some fighter to come along. He has a huge name in boxing as well no matter what you think about him. So what if Pac has put work in, so has every other fighter out there. These guys put their lives on the line in the ring. Its their right to be sure everything is fair. How would you like to be killed in the ring while your opponent cheated? Asking for random testing is like having the gloves checked of your opponent to make sure all the stuffing is in it. Of course there is a difference, but its the same concept. Its like Pac saying you can check the gloves at the post press conference but you can not take them off me directly after the fight. If it sounds fishy, chances are it is fishy.

Floyd is the fellow he is going to face. They are going into the fight 50/50. Both fighters have a say. Yes Pac has the right to refuse but at the same time he is looking guilty so he should have just taken the damn tests. Mayweather was going to get the exact same tests as well, nothing un fair about that.

But if pac challenges foreman... = pussie move

                **** Floyd Mayweather
At this point Pac's legacy is in question because he turned down 40 MILLION DOLLARS to avoid random testing!!! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see he must be hiding something. Maybe Pac is just afraid of losing. And Pac already said he wouldn't fight at 154, so I don't know what you are talking about.
