Amir, you know I love you man...but don't become another Calzaghe !!

Don't go fighting bums in your own backyard all the time and start fighting washed up legends at the end of your career and claim to to be a legend killer.

Please man dont do this to me....please dont emulate Joe Calzaghe. Youre a free agent now so you can choose who to fight next. Yes, I was ver much looking forward to a fight against Maidana but a fight against some other top 10 fighter is also fine by me.

C'MON AMIR, SHOW THE WORLD WHAT YOURE MADE OF !!

Still KHANJA and still WAR KHAN !!

he has the same promoter Franl 'low risk' Warren, so the chances are his career will mirror Calzaghes to an extent. The real issue is this Maidana situation, is Khan going to duck his mandatory which is something Calzaghe never did.

khan can only dream of being as good as calzaghe right now
that said,i do hope he leaves frank warren sooner rather than later, the hate khan is catching on here is ridiculous considering its his team that dont want the fight

Khan is what? 22 or something... seriously for most normal good guys it takes about around the time of 24 or 25 of becoming champion... he has all the time in the world... why should you push him into matches now where he is probably not even ready for... let him grow into his body right... let him grow mentally a bit... and probably in 1 or 2 years... he will be one of the best out there...

The thing is, if you want to call yourself a champion you have to act like a champion. Ducking your mandatory is not a good start even if its a tough opponent.

He's not. Unlike Joe, he's actually making an effort to build his name in the U.S. from the get go.

warren hasn't been able to influence the wba's rankings like he did for the wbo to setup easy mandatories like he did for calzaghe. bad promoting. bad form.

Only cos he was forced there cos the British saw through his fake 'career'.
