Khan is not a contender any more, so please don’t say any more **** about he’s only learning, he’s a world champion, he wanted to be a world champ he got his wish, so now he has to fight world rated contenders.

wXh, That was an honest post and I respect you for it. You are a genuine Khan fan but also not a fool like some of the other Khan fans on this forum that won't see through the silly games and spin thrown out by Khan corp and eat up the bull****. I too hope Khan steps up but the evidence says otherwise right now. It is a pity if it turns out that way because bum beating is not going to bring him on to his full potential. You are now seeing what I did like about Team Khan. I hope he takes the Maidana fight but right now we are at a watershed point. What he does from now on will dictate the pattern of his career.

I agree, he has the natural talent and skills to go far, he just needs to step up that little bit more. But with the whole Maidana situation, I think Khan is definitely willing to go in to the ring and get the job done, it's just his handlers.

I actually do think we will see Khan vs Maidana, because win or lose, it shows Khan has the heart and guts to get in the ring with a top contender. He would probably win as well, but it seems Roach doesn't have the confidence in Khan just yet, for whatever reason.

khan's empty eyes during the prescott fiasco told the real story of his heart; roach saw this.

Khan, at 23, fighting a power puncher like Maidana, is only a win-win fight.

Fans would give Khan mad respect for getting in the ring with him after how much his chin is criticised.

And you only have to watch the Ortiz fight to see how open Maidana is and the problems his footwork can leave him in. Roach can easily exploit that, and as we've seen from previous fights, Khan follows Roach to the letter. I've said on other threads, Khan wins this.

If Khan can't see that Frank Warren does him far more harm than good, then it could be a disappointing career.

Name one legend amir waited to get old before beating, barrera dosnt count since khan was only a baby when he was in his prime.

He hasn't ducked any legends but he hasn't fought any, nobody is debating that.

And why does it matter that Khan was a baby when Barerra was in his prime?? Whats that got to do with anything??

Fact is Marco was shot, and he was a featherweight moved up to lightweight to fight someone who is too big to fight at lightwelter, also, while we are here, Barerra was a Bantamweight who moved up to Feather to fight Nassem so he is even smaller!!! Khan might have well fought a minimumweight.
