That's what people need to realise before jumping in with all this "Khan's a *****!" stuff. Granted, I'm as pissed as anyone else that this fight may not be happening, but in the end the 2 people I blame the most are Roach and Warren.
However, I can switch it up on myself by saying Khan is indeed a ***** for listening to what those clowns have to say. In the end, it's his career and he should be his own man - not anyone's puppet with boxing gloves.
If he really does want to fight Maidana and prove his worth as champion, then he should overrule everyone and make a genuine effort to make the fight happen. He owes it to his fans, and to himself to prove the haters wrong.Comment

Of course he owes it to his fans, he owes it to boxing fans in general, £14:95 for a PPV, in which he fights a then unknown Prescott, Oisin ***an..... Among others. That's what people need to realise before jumping in with all this "Khan's a *****!" stuff. So you honestly don't believe that Khan will get respect for fighting Maidana? Yes, there will be some with negative opinions, but you do not care if he fights a feather fist, and two past prime opponents simply for money?Like I take your opinion seriously sir.
It's hateful posters and fans like you that have ruined the sport. In real terms, I would love to see Khan fight Maidana, but I don't see any motive or potential rewards from him doing so.
If Khan wins, Maidana will be written off as a bum, and Khan will be back at square one again. I would rather him recieve no credit from fighting the likes of Mallignaggi and Hatton, than no credit from fighting Maidana and Bradley. At least he makes a little money from it and can retire from the sport financially sound.
Amir Khan will never be able to elevate himself to greatness no matter who he beats. Too much hate fills the blood of a large section of boxing fans to allow him to do so. Christ, Manny Pacquaio the greatest boxer of our generation doesn't even command universal respect. So how is a boxer like Khan going to do so?
If Khan beat Marquez, Pacquaio, and Mayweather he would still be hated by the majority. He is in a no win situation. Thus I don't blame him for taking easy fights. All he needs to do is earn some good money, and leave this decaying sport behind.
You say 'leave this decaying sport behind', but not taking on tough challenges adds to that. And your approval of it is rediculous.
In reality, you are a whiny *****.Comment

Its fans like you that ruin the sport because of you sympathize with the reasons fighters are not taking fights. Your only concern should be watching the most competitive fights, period.
Like he would receive no credit for fighting Bradley, now im starting to think you are nothing more than a Khan nuthugger who does not want him to face a dangerous opponent case he gets chinned. If Khan wins, Maidana will be written off as a bum, and Khan will be back at square one again. I would rather him recieve no credit from fighting the likes of Mallignaggi and Hatton, than no credit from fighting Maidana and Bradley. Thats just pure BS.Amir Khan will never be able to elevate himself to greatness no matter who he beats. Too much hate fills the blood of a large section of boxing fans to allow him to do so. The guy has been overhyped/overprotected right from the beginning. Hardly any of his first 10/15 opponents were in double figures for knockouts, yet he has still been dropped by blown up SFW's like Limond/Gomez and knocked out by an unknown Columbian, his credentials are questioned for very valid reasons, he has been protected and the only time he fought a live opponent who could punch he got KTFO. Your hard luck story does not wash one bit.
See now this just proves you are nothing more than a pure Khan nuthugger, that what you just said is pure ******ity.

I echo this, that really was a pathetic post by Timba. So you honestly don't believe that Khan will get respect for fighting Maidana? Yes, there will be some with negative opinions, but you do not care if he fights a feather fist, and two past prime opponents simply for money?
