The instant replay showed a hard right hand causing the cut. Real graphic slow-mo as you could see the skin splitting some 2 inches.

I didn't watch the fight except for the ending, but it was punishing fight judging by the appearance of the 2 fighters. Menzer's left eye was almost closed as well.
