Trying to if it came and going all out is two different frame of minds , I think Floyd wanted the rounds and enjoyed himself , I think if he had really opened up he would have stopped him , but if he had off he may never have got a fight with Manny , JMM was for all intents and purposes about getting a fight with Manny , the announcement timing , the fact Manny had such a hard time with JMM , the reason Floyd came back is about Manny , JMM was a bait fight and Floyd just cruised to get the work , he didnt step outside 2nd gear .

Floyd looked to be going for the KO in the 10th and 11th, and whenever he would throw more than two at a time marquez would land one of his few shots. So no.

Floyd would know the last couple of rounds is not when you try for KOs when your a mile in front , he stepped it up a little but thats a long way short of opening right up to stop him , the opponet is always harder to get out when the finish line is near , the best rounds for KOs are between 4 and 10 after that its harder to get in most fights .

He has the power, but not the mentality.

He wants the win, not the KO.

              Nope.

I'm a mayweather fan(the boxer not the ego). If he could have stopped him, he would have. But he didn't. Therefore mayweather can't stop Marquez even if he wanted to.

Hell, Pacquiao couldn't stop Marquez, and he stopped Hatton in half the time Mayweather did.

One-fifth of the time to be exact.

And he was One-fifth the Hatton Floyd stopped , its relative , you guys always pin it on a name , its what the fighter was at the time not his name being auto applied to he is at his best , Floyd beat a much better version of ODH and the best Hatton had ever been , that will be shown when Floyd beats Manny .

                    COULD HE, have done it?
He did want to. He said in the post-fight interview that he was looking for the knockout.

floyd outweighed jmm by almost 20 lbs... why wouldn't he be able to KO jmm? the fact that he didn't means he's a ***** who doesn't take chances
