    RIP Don Miguel.

You cannot but admire Cotto, The guy's a champion through and through. He has fallen on hard times, yet he has shown nothing but class. I wish him well.

They need to work on bringing and keeping the family together and forget about any business aspects as far as boxing.
I disagree! I think that, with Evangelista Cotto was a complete fighter; he was half good with Santiago...

As for the topic... Everybody dies... And almost anytime the family will think it was too early... There are always things undone and words unspoken... If only they had some more time together, they would have... could have...

The only thing I could wish to Cotto family... One can only hope that in those 55 years the man had enough good moments and his life is worth something... Don`t know how to say it better... Death is inevitable... The question is, how much do you manage to do before facing it... I wish Cotto Sr. did enough good...

It's good that they made up and become a family once more but for Cotto and Evangelista working together again is not a good move. What happened to them is irreparable and I would advice Cotto to look for a trainer outside of his family circle.

            RIP Don Miguel Cotto

I hurt for Cotto man, I truly respect him as a fighter but seeing him hold himself together in such hard times is strength beyond measure. I am glad that Miguel Jr and Evangelista were able to put aside differences. I DON'T want to see Cotto with Evangelista again, honestly I don't based purely off of how it went the 1st time, there is no need to journey down that road, I think they just need to be family and be there for each other and I think they accomplished that..

R.I.P Miguel Cotto Sr, the definition of a strong man and an example to all Father's how to be a good parent and love your children. the world lost a great person, my heart goes out to Miguel Jr and the rest of the Cotto family

                    When all's said and done...

Family > Boxing (or any sport for that matter).

off topic. this thread's about them forgiving themselves during someone's death, not about making rearrangements for a different trainer
