Would you lose all respect for Manny if he was on steroids?

Then you better start hating on:

    Roy Jones
    James Toney
    Shane Mosley
    Vargas
    Holyfield
    Tommy Morrison

People talk that Roy went from MW to Heavyweight and is an ATG and that he is now diminishing his legacy. Well surely the Roid jones thing should make him not be discussed that way. Maybe his roids helped prolong his speed? People still show him love by wanting him to retire before he gets seriously hurt.

Toney is discussed as a damn skillful man, most say he is one of the msot skilled ever. However he was caught using some steroids. Maybe it wouldn't have helped his skills, but he still was cheating.

Mosley had great wins and fights, but perhaps he wouldn't be the man he was without? People talk of him as the best Welter today, which he is in my eyes until I see him in the Berto fight.

Vargas is talked about like a great prospect who jumped in too soon. People love his style and heart.

Holyfield is talked about as a very skilled boxer who had a good defense. CW champ to Heavyweight. Very good achievement and fights. People still love him today.

Morrison, well I just added him on because he was in Rocky 5 and DK played Rocky and him

I'm just saying that I know the people who would hate on Pacquaio if he was on steroids most likely still support/ do not hate atleast one fighter in that list.

Roy jones tested positive for a performance enhancing chemical by using an OTC product that was later taken off the shelves. The same way that use of medicinal-strength ibuprofen causes you to test positive for Cannibis, and some (especially older) brands of anti-histamine containing cold remedies can make you test positive for opiates.

Actually I don't no if he is or not fool.

However I do know that a man who puts on 13 lbs which is 10% of his actual weight, will not be as strong as a man who only puts on 5lbs (3%) of water weight which means the other 7% will be msucle, hence being stronger.

          If you disagree then explain.

              The evidence against Evander Holyfield

Named in connection with the Orlando bust this week, Evander Holyfield flatly denies any steroid use. Read carefully though as HGH is not a steroid. The Boston Herald (from The Boxing News) has read very closely, which led the paper to say that Holyfield is not 'the real deal'. Here is the evidence:

A_holyfield_evander2_htAt a barbeque joint in midtown Manhattan Tuesday, Evander Holyfield, who is prohibited by “administrative suspension” from boxing in New York, convened a press conference to announce that he will be fighting Vinny Maddalone in Corpus Christi, Texas, on March 17. Then the 44-year-old Holyfield got out of town - one step ahead of the posse, it turns out.

What is the evidence that the father of 11, with 7 women is a super-stud on anabolics?

              * As mentioned his name surfaced in the Orlando bust, from both the Albany Times-Union and from Sports Illustrated. (now from the Herald)

              * Holyfield’s name does not appear on documents, because the drugs in question were ordered by a patient named “Evan Fields,” whose birthday, Oct. 19, 1962, happens to coincide with Holyfield’s. (Fields’ listed address was “794 Evander, Fairfield, Ga.”) And when the SI reporters dialed the number listed on Evan Fields’ prescription, Holyfield answered the phone.

              * According to the records of the investigation, Holyfield (or “Fields”) obtained, in June of 2004, testosterone, Glukor and injection supplies, and three weeks later picked up five vials of Human Growth Hormone

              * In September of the same year, incidentally, “Evan Fields” returned to his urologist, this time to be treated for “hypogonadism.” Two months later, after losing to Larry Donald on a Madison Square Garden undercard, Holyfield was suspended in New York for what NYSAC chairman Ron Scott Stevens cited as “diminished skills.”

To his credit, Holyfield did not at the time avail himself of the obvious avenue of escape. He could, after all, have told Ron Scott Stevens “I don’t have diminished skills. You’d fight that way too if your gonads were the size of a pair of bb’s.”

              * Dr. Margaret Goodman, now the chief ringside physician for the Nevada State Athletic Commission, told the SI reporters that back in 1994, when Holyfield evinced evidence of a heart defect follwing his loss to Michael Moorer, commission doctors believed the malady to be consistent with HGH use, but since Holyfield denied having used the substance they could not pursue the theory.

The the Boxing News states that a persona using a pseudonym similar to Holyfield, with the same birthdate as Evander Holyfield, at the same address as Evnader Holyfield ordered anabolics. Further Holyfield suffered a heart condition that has been linked to HGH.

Sounds like this is close to a knockdown.

Do some google work. If he hasn't used steroids, then I hope you have not accused Manny since there is more to lead to Holyfield than Manny.

Linked to BALCO which made a drug called THG which helps hide steroids.

Please read the whole article though.

I like your points because I didn't know that, but I don't know if it is a likely story.

A lot of profesional athletes who get caught actually make funny excuses.

No offence for calling you a fool because I like you as a person, but as a poster you CAN be a fool, but not always.

You have a lot of love for boxing, but what you type isn't always correct and shows bias on an ignorant level.

How much you know boxing, I don't know since you often ask how a fight was by making a thread.

Manny is suing because the Mayweather's kept chatting **** about him. Tyson did not, his daddy did not, his trainer and promoter did not.

I don't see Manny calling him HIV positive or gay because Ellerbe rubs his chest.

Next time don't assume anything from what I say. That is all
