HGH is NOT useless to a boxer. How can you say that? Just because Victor Conte touts EPO (which he basically introduced to fighters) doesn't mean HGH is useless. At all. HGH is made naturally through the body--how can it be USELESS? LOL. And furthermore, this same Conte says blood testing is much better to detect blood doping. Even further, random testing is very important. Not knowing when the test will take place makes it tougher to cheat, right?

they already knew that pac dont want those random needles. why not settle for second best if it will have a high probability of nailing him if he's cheating?

DC: Urine and blood tests and the menu of things they test for should be as full as it can be and even fuller than that. Some broader wave. Tests need to be random and unannounced. Keep in mind we now have a Growth Hormone test but it hasn’t caught anybody. People are not terribly excited about a GH test that doesn’t catch anybody. They don’t know whether that is because the test is not good or because no one is using Growth Hormone. Well, no one believes that no one is using Growth Hormone. You have to go after the blood. The things you are after in the blood are Erythrpoeitin (EPO) and the whole family of drugs like it. You have to use blood tests if you want to detect Mircera and HGH.

I completely agree with random testing but trust me HGH is only benificial if used with other ped's,HGH would benifit a basketball/baseball player a person who play's weekly/over the course of a season where fast recovery is needed....
If pac was taking HGH on his own he would have to be pretty ******.....add in other ped's like epo with it and its becomes very benificial but on its own its not...

Epo can be detected by a urine test......
