Miranda really doesn't need this big opportunity right now. He needs to have a few more fights with Goosen and try work out some of his problems, and maybe hopefully go some way to improving against lower level competition I would have thought.

If Miranda can keep his hands up and throw a couple BOMBS early to check Bute's chin..he should be able to KO him..of course he's got only power over Bute but..like Pantera said..Goosen is a very good trainer..and he might tighten up that D..and show him something new to work in his favor..

I'm expecting Bute to win...but would be really happy if Miranda won..

I am hearing that now that Stieglitz found another opponent and not rescheduling the fight with Miranda, it is very likely that HBO will push for Bute and Miranda to fight on April 17th.

Most people are not giving Miranda much to a chance in this fight. However, with Goossen in his corner, there may be some new tricks up his sleeve we havent seen yet. If the aggressive Miranda from Eastman/Abraham I shows up with better defense and more weapons, could he pull of the upset?

Miranda can't really catch a break? What are his promoters thinking honestly? I mean we all know by now that he won't have a chance against boxer... it's nice for him to get another title shot but c'mon...

What are Miranda's options? Stieglitz was a great opportunity but now that this fight is not happening, what else can he do? Other than Bute, there are no other fight at SMW that offer a decent payday. I am sure that Goossen and Miranda will have a gameplan against Bute. That is something that Miranda has never had. Ward is different fighter than Bute. Bute can be hit. Miranda has a chance.

Bute isn't all the way up there yet..his last performance was good...but let's not overrate him just yet..
