Berto can't box worth **** IMO...He fights flat footed and has no inside game. His stamina is questionable and he has looked beatable against much lesser opponents. Forbes was able to back him off with right hands. Forbes Steve 2lb Forbes from the contender who was in his face all night. If Berto couldn't hurt Forbes you really think he got something for Shane? This ia a good point my friend. Margarito ate punches all night he didn't see coming from Cotto. He kept coming his chin was world class and so was his stamina. Shane's body work and power punches to the head put Tony The Cement Mixer to bed in the 9th round. Shanes two biggest weapons in that fight weren't his left hook or his over hand right my friend. It was his right hook to the body and his left jab....If he uses his jab and body punching in this fight it is EASY WORK....Put those Points up playa.....Lefty

the margarito that mosley fought was just exposed as a cheater, literally 30 mins. before the fight, surely you can fathom the guy was a bit "distracted."

comparing mosley beating margarito, but losing to cotto furthers my opinion that mosley loses to berto, not the other way around.

I was simply responding to his claim that Berto is naturally stronger. What that means in the fight is something else and I agree with you too an extent but being big and strong can certainly be a benefit as your able to take punches better and have your punches do more damage as well. You might be able to take 2 and land 1 in return and have better success then the other guy.

In this fight I do expect Mosley to probably be the one getting tagged more often but we know he can take a punch while Berto's ability is more suspect and I personally don't think he's going to be able to handle the return fire.

you're absolutely right....mosley's never been stopped, and i don't see him getting stopped here either.....dude has a beard, and that's 1 point nobody can argue.

Berto squares up way too much....you can't do that against Shane .....Berto will become part of the already classic Shane Mosley career KO highlight reel.....Mosley has some of the most memorable, some of the most devastating, spectacular KO's of any top flight active fighter!!.....Berto will feel the power and then try to skate his way to the finish line......but all exits will get shut down and then his lights will be shut out!!......you won't beat Shane without a good respectable jab.....it won't happen!!.....Berto will have a round or two where he shines.....but when the rust comes off Shane by round 3 or 4.......the Power punch buffet will be open and Berto will be gettin' fed all he can eat......the over hand right and the left hook will be knockin' lil' Berto from rope to rope......DiBella might have to run in the ring again, like he did when JT went to sleep in Germany!!.......Shane got this.....then Floyd and Manny will be all on his ****.....watch!!!.....all roads lead to Shane Mosley, Oscar been said this!!!

That is the key to this fight for Mosley. At this point in his career, he doesnt have the legs to chase Berto around all night. If he works Berto with body shots for a while I see a really bad beatdown coming for Berto. The only way I see Berto winning this fight is litterally running all fight and potshotting.
