I can smell Frank's bitterness ......boxers make the promoters but the promoters are ALWAYS saying otherwise......when will these promoters understand that we the fans can give a dam about what the dude in the suit and tie says.....we ONLY take the words of the guy who ACTUALLY laces up the gloves and puts his health and life at risk as bond, and NOT some blood sucking old business tycoons who smoke cuban cigars with stock holders.......the dude who bustes his ass in the gym and puts his life on the line is by far more admirable than some ****in' promoter.....Joe Calzaghe is by far one of the fighters I least like, I'm a B.Hop fan, what you expect ......but the dude has fought with ****ed up hands and STILL was whoopin' ass.....no major ass, but STILL outworking and out thinking dudes while nursing bad guns.....come on man!!.....props where props is due regardless!!

when did they come to Europe to take their beating? in fact by my reckoning the first time Jones Jr. left the US he was knocked out.
if your already in the mecca of boxing, why move out? every good fighter, every great, went to the usa to face the best, it's were fighters from all over the world go for big showdowns

Joe Calzaghe was never that popular.

Lacy was his coming out party at the age of 33.

Calzaghe never helped himself. He had a lot of boring fights on TV that hurt his career. Never marketed 'put himself out there' as a sporting personality, and got injured a lot.

Calzaghe was popular only in Wales. Until Lacy.

He wasn't this guy that would have had armies following him. Probably not even as popular as Froch is now. He wasn't some Ricky Hatton who was a draw. B-Hop didn't fight him in 2002 because he didn't have too.

Frank Warren is the greatest scumbag the boxing world has ever produced. Don King has nothing on him.
