Mike Tyson best resume? haha make me laugh.

    Smith
    Berbick
    Thomas
    Tucker
    Holmes
    Tubbs
    Spinks
    Bruno
    Ruddock

    Tucker
    Holyfield
    Johnson
    Rahman
    Oquendo
    Golota
    Soon to be Toney

I would say their resumes are about equal and take away his Holmes victory and Tysons looks like ****.

Want to pick at Ruiz win over Holyfield? Holyfield atleast came back and took him to a draw and beat him the first time...Holyfield was still considered competitive then. Tyson's win over Holmes means **** anyway Holmes was past his prime as well.

    !~!VIVA RUIZ!~!
Tyson KO'd nearly all those people. Ruiz barely managed a win over Holyfield. He should have lost to Golota, so take him off and put him on Tyson's list. Johnson was DQ'd. Oquendo is his only convincing win.

This ~is~ laughable. I'm glad you amused yourself.

Viva my ass. Ruiz isn't the best of anything. Toney will take him out.

John Ruiz is a pathetic fighter(technically) who only wins because he uses dirty tatics. Last time Ruiz fought a hall of fame skilled fighter he was dominated. No disrespect to the Ruiz fans...oh wait he doesn't really have any. Prediction: Toney 10th round TKO

I got 154 million riding on Ruiz by UD, noway will a light fisted heavyweight like Toney take him out. Jones couldnt even do that....Toney is grossly out of shape and said he barely trained for this fight because Ruiz is a bum and trained for only 5 weeks.

We will all see Saturday night when the actions speak louder than words.

95% of Tysons resume is Tomatoes

Jinx, I know you know your boxing and I believe 95% of what you say but I can't believe you are picking Ruiz. When Ruiz loses your going to have some explaining to do. Hey Jinx how about this, if Toney wins you have to put up a James Toney signature and if Ruiz wins I will put up a John Ruiz signature that says Spinksjinx was right.LOL

My analysis on the fight agree or not is the truth in my rock solid head.

Toney is a good counter puncher who likes to fight on the ropes and counter and fight inside, with C level footwork.

Ruiz is a guy who will get you close (ok Toney likes to fight inside) and throw a few punches and then tie you up and walk to the ropes and let go and throw a few more and tie up.

Well if Toney gets close Ruiz will hold and Toney is an inside fighter...It is doom for Toney.

What Toney needs to do is if Ruiz holds throw him down and make the ref take notice.

With Toney NOT being a natural heavyweight and not in top conditioning Ruiz's constant holding will tire out Toney. Toney might look good against a guy who doesnt hold you and will throw back but Ruiz will frustrate the hell out of a guy with his style.

I see the fight Toney taking a few rounds in the beginning with Ruiz doing a lot of holding and in the mid part of the fight Ruiz stealing rounds and tiring out Toney.

Hopefully I am wrong, but Toney doesnt seem serious about this fight.

I am down with that bet....

Did you check Cory Spinks' record?

His opponents win/loss record is 732 wins vs 895 losses.

Fact is, that's the way it is for most champs. They gotta fight bums before they fight elites.

EDIT - I'm fairly new here but this is the first debate I've read where no insults have been thrown.

How dare you bring Cory into an argument about the heavyweight division.

Cory is one hell of a boxer with skills....As Merchant states "Cory isnt running he is boxing"-Spoken like a true boxing expert.

Welcome to Boxing Scene by the way.

Tomato cans are in every division. That's the point, as well as your avatar being Spinks, I thought I'd make more poignant by bringing up his tomato cans.
