Yes, you're right... because he made them into 'Tomatoes'
But how would a 20 year old kid know anything about the REAL Tyson...

    Look, I don't blame you...

Here is a little clip you can watch to educate yourself

Ohh and yes, RUIZ is the worst HW champion in history! This is not just my opinion you know that... How the **** do you compare him to Tyson.. who is a LEGEND.

Tyson just doesn't have any brane left.. and yes, he sucks now, but still has the power to Knock the **** Out 3/4 of the heavyweight division! And don't take away from him what he once was

      King of the jungle!

I think you guys are going to be surprised by how easily Ruiz handles Toney in the clinches and how he will be able to hurt the so called "iron chinned" Toney. You are building your boy up to be a killer but he is a weaker and much slower puncher than Jones was. Toney at 233 doesn't hit as hard as Jones at 200. Jones, aside from his speed, had very good power, better than Toney's at any stage of his career. Do you think that merely putting on 50 points, most of it lard, he would become a hard puncher? Bull****. The guy couldn't knock out an out of shape cruiserweight. How is he doing to hurt Ruiz who has been in there with Golota, Kirk Johnson, and Rahman? Do you really think Toney hits half as hard as even Kirk Johnson?

Toney was a great fighter but he's just a middleweight. True, Jones was a middleweight too, but at least he WAS a puncher at middleweight. A damn good one too. You do not take a middleweight with average punching power, bring him up to heavyweight, and expect him to start knocking guys out. Doesn't happen. The size of your punch is ultimately limited by the size of your frame. A 130 pound puncher who moves up to 140 will find that his punches no longer have the same effect on his larger skulled opponents.

No one becomes a better puncher by moving up in weight. It's true that a boxer's power increases slightly as he puts on more mass, but this is negated by the fact that his opponents at higher weight classes have heavier and bigger bone structures.

I personaly, HATE TONEY! Hate seeing this fat bum calling himself "the best damn boxer period" I can't wait for someone to knock his fat ass down back to the cruiser.

But he is skilled... very skilled! And it will take a lot more than Ruiz to do it..

Take your shots as you wish, but I have seen Tysons whole career and known his opponents career. Saying Tyson turned them into cans, sure I will take that considering the division was about as bad as it is today. But you seriously cant think Tysons opponents were all credible (the division was terrible at the time except for Tyson). One of the best wins Tyson has is against Bonecrusher Smith and he even took Tyson the distance.

You seriously dont think the likes of Thomas/Berbick/Tucker and Tubbs were bums before Tyson got a hold of them? The era was lackluster to begin with.

I know the facts and the facts is Tyson fought a lot of ****s in his career.

I know Tyson was a phenom and unstoppable but he was in his prime when their was a bunch of garbage men as champions like there is today, I have no doubts the prime Tyson wouldnt kill all these heavyweights but he was ahead of his time.

The only reason Tyson was brought up was because a poster earlier stated he had the best resume, which I am sure you can dispute....Perhaps he would if he would have beaten the top quality fighters that handed him his ass.

Toney was also in NY, it was a video teleconference, Ruiz said he would be there.

would u like put bet another 2mil on ruiz?
another thing that 3rd fight was not a draw Holy wooped his ass it wasn't even close that was a B.S. decision. I do agree with you about tyson's record, but Tyson would have then and would still kill ruiz. Holyfield has the best resume ever, he fought everyone.

154 is enough, sorry should have gotten at me earlier.

Arent all Ruiz decisions bull**** though? Holyfield gave Ruiz hell but from a "respected" (haha) view it was still a Draw in the record books...Sad though because if Holyfield would have won maybe he wouldnt be in the boat he is in Today...That decision ruined Holyfield.

I agree I am not downplaying Tyson's prime skills or anything and he would have easily destroyed Ruiz...He still would if Ruiz would get caught flush most likely.

Thumbs up on Holyfield having the best resume

                    Rahman
                    Ruiz
                    Lewis-Draw
                    Moorer
                    Tyson x2
                    Bowe
                    Mercer
                    Holmes
                    Foreman
                    Douglas
                    Thomas
                    Qawi X 2

Hell in his pro debut he fought a guy that was 9-1.

Holyfield probably has the best record in boxing Today overall any weight class.

You should take that Lewis-draw off that list--not to take anything away from Evander or your list, but that was clearly NOT a draw...

I didn't see any of the Ruiz-Holyfield fights, the first Ruiz fight I saw was vs. Kirk Johnson, who disappointed me incredibly. After Jones-Ruiz, I thought he was out of the picture, but Roy didn't want to stay at heavy, leading to Ruiz vs. Rahman, and Rahman disappointed me incredibly. I avoided the last two Ruiz debacles (thankfully) but I will watch tomorrow because it's not PPV...I take Ruiz UD 12 because Toney will run out of gas and will not be able to outbox Ruiz consistently...I think a DQ is very possible...if Toney is getting beaten and he wants an out, he may hold and hit until Ruiz goes down or headbutt or something...could be interesting.
