Actually the case is rolling forward and every legal professional surrounding the situation has stated Manny has a good case. Roger and Mayweather Sr. have direct quotes linking Manny to steroids. Floyd's RA Rugged Man interview doesn't help either. I'll let a Pac fan do the digging, I backed off the Mayweather side of this once I read the libelous quotes for myself.

To be clear on this matter:

Fact: This little fellah only two or three years ago could not dispatch marco barrera with particular ease in their 2nd fight.
Fact: Same with marquez in second fight.
Fact: All of a sudden he has exploded in weight and wiped the floor with the top fighters in his first fights at their respective weights.
Fact: "the" boxing fraternity is atleast a little su****ious of this achievement regardless of the nice man and all that he is.
Fact: He had a blood test with our own ricky hatton (televised) with no mentioned problem of energy drain or superstition and looked what happened.
Since the initial "opinon" voiced by daddy mayweather others have followed but at distance.
Freddie roach remained pretty quiet about this, funny....when you consider he would usually be at daddy mayweathers throat for having such an "opinion".
Final fact: It has been clinically proven that the measure of blood taken in a sample would not be enough to weaken anybody especially somebody in such supreme phisical condition unless......there were an existing health threat in some way to the individual in which case.....he would not be training or getting involved in a boxing match with people whom are naturally bigger than him but yet, up until now he still gets in a first fight at the weight with the bigger men who are the top fighters at the weight and smashes them to pieces and is scared of needles!?!? With tattoos!!?!?! Or superstitious!?!?!?! Ive never heard of such inexcusable drivel in all my life.
He has no grounds to argue nor make an argument with these feeble reasons where on the the other hand, there is all the proof you need other than the actual blood tests themselves to suggest(strongly) he has/is or will be taking illegal supplements to make him tougher/bigger/stronger/faster...etc.
Steve austin never took drugs but did have bionic arms and legs.
Manny does not have bionic limbs.

According to Floyd's fans Manny is schizophrenic, under the care of Dr. Jekyll. Some of them also said Manny is using doubles. Why?

Because not long ago they stated that Manny is not a real fighter and has no strong punch. He only fought weak, dehydrated, shot, over the hill fighters. He really haven't fought a good strong boxer.

But now they are saying that Manny have a very strong punch. Because he can knock down very strong fighters comparing his punch to much heavier fighters. Dela Hoya can vouch for this because he experienced it himself.

In conclusion they are now accusing Pacquiao of having a double. A secret half-brother who looks like him and fights in his place. They will now demand random DNA testing up to between rounds in all fights of Manny to be sure who is actually fighting.

I have read all the interviews with Manny and all his tv interviews, some of them in Filipino which my pinoy colleagues kindly translated for me. And not once did manny say he is afraid of needles!!!!

Jesus Manny and Arum are pissing me off.

A chronological order of events (as i see it):

- Mayweather announces his comeback before the Ricky Hatton v Pacman (at their presser) fight against none other than....you guessed it JMM. Likely a premeditated call out by JMM and GBP.

- Pac dominates Hatton

- Floyd domintaes JMM

- Hype for PBF vs Pac begins.

- Pac beats Cotto. Mayweather Sr is ringside to assess the fight first hand. Its around this time Sr becomes more vocal re Pac and PED's.

- Immedietely after the cotto vs pac fight PBF is on british tv talking about how easy he will whip Pac for a full 30 minutes.

- Mayweather and crew ask golden boy to get the ball rolling on a fight. Ellerbe, Haymon and Floyd recuse themselves from direct negotiations with Arum and team to avoid bad blood.

- An initial date is slated in May to coincide with Cinco de Mayo. Roach runs his mouth about his belief Mayweather will be difficult in negotiations and will price himself out of the fight. He thinks Manny will need to change his style to be ready for Mayweather and quote " needs Pac to see what i see."

- Date is rejected by Pac, given his desire to run for a congressional seat in native Phillipines.

- A March 13th date is floated by Top Rank (correct me if im wrong on that 1). Roach runs his mouth saying Floyd will not accept that date so they have a fight with Foreman lined up @ 154.

- Mayweather accepts the date. Roach runs his mouth some more about how he would like Manny to have more time to prepare for Floyds style and how the fight will not go ahead if Floyd is even 1 pound heavier than 147 limit.

- Contract negotiations become more in depth. The weight of 147 is agreed upon, as is standard 8 oz gloves for the fight. Fighters can choose the brand.
Billing is also negotiated with Mayweathers name first for promotional purposes. 50/50 is also agreed upon fairly quickly.

- Random USADA testing is requested by GBP as a contract clause in the fight for both fighters. Things go pear shaped very quickly from this point onwards. Top Rank and Pac immedietely decline citing various reasons. Top Ranks wants a $10 mil per pound penalty for each pound over 147 limit. Team May promptly accepts.

side note: some have stated randomised testing was included in the initial draft of contract negotiations. I'm not sure if thats true---> link from someone would be useful.


Reasons cited by team Pac members to justify refusal of testing:

- Manny is afraid of needles. This is quickly debunked give his tattoos (apparently he snacks whilst getting new artwork) and calm demeanour in giving blood previously.

- Manny is superstitious and beleives giving blood so close to a fight will weaken him. Apparently he believes this so much he needs a 30 day window of no blood testing to recover. Note: he gave blood 14-24 days prior to Hatton fight. Essentially they want a set schedule.

- Roach says it will be disruptive to training. Does he know other athletes get tested mid competition??

- Ariza (in all his wisdom) comes out and says Manny has no idea what he is being given and he takes full responsibility for all that Pac takes.

- etc etc.

- Pac files a lawsuit for defamation/slander/blah/blah blah against Floyd sr, Floyd jr and GBP.


- Top Rank starts lining up Malignaggi as a potential opponent for Pac even though he has been very vocal in his belieft that Manny is on PED's.

- in the last few days Lining up Foreman @ 154 like the original plan

- Team mayweather says they are willing to come to a compromise on cut-off days + testing agency....as long as testing is random in nature.

- Team Pac's response......for the fight to happen they need to drop random blood testing and apologise to Pac.



My interpretation of these events:

Everything Mayweather has done since coming out of retirement has been an effort to build a big money fight with Pac. Choice of opponents and timing of interviews and announcements is testament to this......as is his quick acceptance of terms floted by team Pac.

Pac given his actions either:

- does not want to fight floyd at all.

- is taking something he maybe should not be and does not want to fight anyone if random testing is involved.

- OR is even more of a diva and childish than mayweather is (a feat no one would think is possible) and spits the dummy if he does not get his own way each and every time.



I would like to point out i am a PBF fan so my interpretation may have some inherent bias....but still think it is reasnoably objective and the conclusions i have drawn are pretty clear @ this point given the actions of both Team May and team Pac.
