As BoxingScene.com had previously reported on Sunday, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions plan to mediate their issues on Tuesday before retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein in Santa Monica, California, in an effort to save the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Manny Pacquiao mega-fight and resolve some other issues. Here's hoping something is made, otherwise we start off 2010 with 2 dud fights against M.Hatton & some overrated ABC belt holder somewhere else.

im seeing that this will be hard thing to do for the mayweather camp..
if this does go through, this will assure the fans that mayweather wants the fight and this PED/EPO allegations were all hype.. and when this is done, the ball will be on Pac's court.. will he be dropping the 10mil per pound demand also?
Would really like to see this fight signed and delivered..

I no longer want this fight to happen if this bullying doesn't stop by all involved. That is not mediation. I want both fighters to go into this fight with some dignity. Now Arum is dictating all the terms? Second interview already where he pretty much asserts GB/MW promotions get no real say in these negotiations. I agree on apologizing for the attacks on Manny without solid proof, but now I think Team May should renege on the overweight penalty just on principle.
The arguable top fighter in the sport, was given the lead on getting this fight done by Ross Greenburg of HBO and he's being treated like all of Roach's recent victims in pre fight negotiations.Last edited by Haglerwins; 01-04-2010, 03:16 AM.
