He'll probably be there...if he is, it won't be very high at all. I think he's an ATG for reasons specified...there are many greater, including the last two dudes he beat.

I have to reassess the Jr. divisions first. These lists for the original eight allowed for subjective analysis; the others were an exercise in formula with sometimes odd outcomes.

I don't even have a current top ten P4P, never mind an all time top 100.

It's a lot of work, and it'd get butchered.

Personally I don't have him in my top 100. And, I think he is an ATG at 168. I really think he is the greatest SMW of all time and a easily a HOF'er. But, I just don't have him in my top 100. But, I can see how somebody could have him between 80-100.

I also do not have Aaron Pryor in my top 100. And, I got blasted for that. But, I just think they are so many greater fighter...

I know you won't put De la Hoya in it... I at least I hope you don't. I saw a list with him in the top 75 and it upset me...

Excellent to hear. I don't get why some people don't rank HW's p4p. It's just comparing their achievements and abilities on a mythical even playing field, so why shouldn't HW's be included.

              Wait a minute.....

I disagree with HOPKINS being in the top 10 and I also disagree with HAGLER not being 1! Sorry guys but HOPKINS was smart and selective about who he fought. It doesn't mean he was one of the best because of it. Who did his 21 title defenses come against??? He made his name off of under-sized future Hall of Famers like TRINIDAD and DE LA HOYA and WINKY WRIGHT and KELLY PAVLIK and do you want me to continue? He's ducked legit competition over the years and still does today. Does CHAD DAWSON ring a bell??? As for HAGLER, how many fighters on that list would have beaten him REALLY? He was born to fight and although ROBINSON and MONZON would have given him tough fights, he would have eaten them both up!! I never seen a fighter not show any pain in the ring like HAGLER did time after time after time. GOOD list over all but I disagree with those 2 spots. GIVE ME FEEDBACK.

Greb does some things here, he rolls under a few shots, but he looks really sloppy at times, check out that pushing right hand to the body at 0:41, wide open.

Better record of what? Obvious to who? Bonds hit more dongs, in a longer and PED extended career, but his average was WAY lower lifetime and he was never on e of the best pitchers in the game. Ruth played in a segregated league which I think is fair to count against him, but he'd be as good as Pujols if he were alive right now. So would Josh Gibson.

He was a prodigy and long overdue for recognition. His win/loss record against the best fighters of his day is wicked and he could literally do it all.

Didn't see that and simply don't have a contact for that. My apologies. As to Papp, he's a great what if but not as much a was IMO.

Robinson DID have a better Middleweight career against FAR superior fighters. Sorry. There's a better argument for moving Hopkins lower than higher in this group. I respect his numbers, and think he's well in the fight with anyone ahead of him, but they won more against more fighters who mattered.

Jesus, if you're gonna' steal Daggum's thunder get it right. I questioned Oscar De La Hoya as an ATG. Roy WAS an ATG, I rated him as such, and questioned whether he could have been greater. And all of those pieces are over 3K words...short? If you're gonna' call me a ****sucker, at least have your facts straight.

And what is this nonsense about 'how many Greb fights.' Hey, there aren't any. There's plenty of a lot of the bad ass opponents he beat, there's a ton of accounts that describe a beast, and there are numbers to bear it out. He's got the best resume of wins in the history of the sport and he was a natural to Middleweight.
No mention of why Nino Benvenuti was left off of the list, so I will ask why? To me the fact that Nino was not included in the top 25 discredits the list.

There are 25 in or certain Hall of Famers on the list. I can live with it. As to Nino, I did answer.

He was a great (and greater) Jr. Middleweight IMO and the best Middleweight he beat was really a Jr. Middle as well (Griffith). Rodriguez is a great win, but Luis was getting long in the tooth. Just my take.

I don't really agree with the list, the right fighters are in there but just not in the right placement IMO.
