That is not what I would call a mediation. Smart move by Team Pac on suing. This is pretty much a checkmate. It's ingenious. The lawsuit is being used as leverage to make the fight on all of Manny's terms.

Well if you know who they are then how can you not know how it plays out? Or did you have to go look at boxrec to find out that Napoles nickname was mantequilla?

Also Chavez was not that easy to hit, he could slip punches. People act like Chavez had no defense. But, his defense is underrated. He was no Whitaker but he was Hatton either...

The problem with Napoles is that he had paper tissue skin. He could get cut easily. And, Chavez had very heavy hands. So I could see where Napoles would be winning the fight. But, then getting stop due to cuts. And, Chavez getting the come from behind TKO victory late in the fight.
I mean Chavez wasnt a punching bag...but he spent so much time trying to kill his opponent that he was kinda easy to hit.

I think a better match up would be Chavez vs. Duran

You be on the HBO forums? There is a poster on those boards name duplicity. Have you read his stuff?

What's with all this "I don't know if there is enough time to promote a fight of this magnitude..." nonsense? First of all, it's already huge and everyone wants to see it. Second, all this 'roids stuff hasn't been all over the sports headlines for weeks already? They haven't set up the inevitable "This is personal" storyline already? They have 3 ****ing months to milk this ****. Whoever decided 6 months was needed to properly promote a show was obviously a dip**** that wanted to keep belts as long as possible.

Chavez-Duran would of been a war. But, I think Duran gets it. He was a little bit more versatile...

The best way they can settle their differences is in the g**damn ring.

Tell ya what, that 24/7 series is going to be the schizsnit when it gets made.

I'm sure HBO is capturing every footage from the training camps, to the court house, to the ring.

If it happens in March the undercard is going to be horrendous...

GBP should lose their promotional rights over pac and pac should still sue no matter if the fight happens or not
