completely agree, it legitimizes the sport and levels the playing field. But its the same old story who pays for the testing and the risk associated with finding out your thoroughbred horse is just hot air without. It is sad and will likely not happen for a long time until someone gets busted using over killing/hurting a fighter.

The promoters should be the ones paying with the tv channels being the ones to demand this, elsewise the promoters who do not agree to pay the testings aren't getting any dates/ppv's...

of course there should be stringent testing, but what makes amatuer Olympic testing better than professional baseball or football testing?

Tom it would be nice if you could ask the question at the Sylvester fight. I'm particularly interested to know if and how much Ward was tested before Kessler. That is obviously interesting because ward openly admits to being a client of BALCO founder Victor Conte. PM me if you need a source.
Yeah, you once wrote me something in German *loooooooooooooool*

That's really weird... how can somebody still work together with Conte... I heard Chambers too... that's bad... I don't want to throw assucations out here but Conte has really big insight on how to get around tests and ****...

Kessler has to come back strong though... I felt that he wasn't really there physical... like he expected an easy fight... is it true that Kessler is hard to train and all that or just made up by his now ex-trainer... I mean he got some headbutts but I believe that even without them he would have lost... he seemed not in the right mind, physical weak, probably weak prepared?

His (former) trainer Olsen is an honourable stand-up guy. He speaks the truth as he sees it I believe. From the outside Kessler's preparations looked inadequate with a 2 week promotion tour in Denmark, sloppy sparring in Copenhagen, 1-2 weeks of mediocre sparring in Berlin followed by 3 weeks in California where the first couple of days is bound to be ineffective due to jetlag and the last week is free of sparring.

So I think Kessler (and his team) gravely underestimated Ward as was also what Ward himself said. Before the fight Kessler said he was in the shape of his life though so.......

Anyway he took a spanking at the hands of Ward, who indeed would have won even without the flying headbutts.

He definetely needs to bring his A-game next time. Froch is not easy pickings.

Actually that's what I thought too... I've seen him at the Abraham-Taylor fight... he was there too and was introduced... and in all his interviews I saw him before... he either was ****y or confident... as it seems now ****y... he still has all the tools to make a run but he has to take it seriously...

I have to say I still pick him by decision over Froch. Froch is heavy handed... but Kessler has good, straight technique and Froch is not exactly a moving target... if Kessler comes prepared this time he will beat Froch IMO
