Why a blood test would effect Pacquiao more than Mayweather..

I wonder if other boxers will follow Pacs example of "affecting the mind" excuses.
Hatton can say, I only lost cos i didn't have my cornflakes on the morning of the fight, it affected my mind.
Cotto: I forgot to have a poo it affected my mind.
De La Hoya: I didn't wear my thong it affected my mind.Last edited by $partacus; 01-03-2010, 03:36 PM.Comment

you really think Pacquiao is thinking about all that.. not eating and such. In his head it was the blood test and the Winning gloves. The issue is, only an idiot would buy into the "It will mentally effect him" crap. As I said; issue was more due to the fact that Pacquiao was already in the 130 mark and didn't eat after getting his blood drawn. This was during a period where his body needed rest. That was at 130, difference there. At WW he came in at 143 against Cotto, so Pacquiao doesn't have to worry about that, understand? The problem here is that a 30 day cut off solve nothing, a 2-3 day cut off does, you understand that also? No offense man.
If it was bull**** then why do MLB players do the same ruitine everytime they bat or pitch?
Why does Landon Donovan do the same hand jestures before a penalty kick?
You have to remember that Pacquiao comes from a small 3rd world Catholic country and is very simple minded himself. You know how superstitious Catholics are.
Every Catholic I know is in some way superstitious.Comment

Exactly..it only how shows how weak Pac is mentally...I wonder if other boxers will follow Pacs example of "affecting the mind" excuses.

Again.. it's not about the physical.. it's about the mental. If your reading comprehension skills weren't elementary level you would've understood this the first time you read the thread. The amount of blood taken is so small it will have zero effect on performance," said Dr. Gary Wadler, the World Anti-Doping Agency chairman of the Prohibited List Committee. "It's really inconsequential when you take into account the total blood volume in the human body. It's not a valid argument."
